What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

Nothing major, but got her up for my 3k oil change and installed a fumoto valve. Noticed there weren't many photos of the fitment on a stinger 3.3 so I got some for the record

pretty sweet.

Did you add a quick access port like this as well?

Stripped drain plug

I bought my ‘18 GT1 used and when I tried doing the oil change, I noticed the bolt was stripped.. horribly stripped. Any suggestions on how to remove it? That bar is too close and isn’t allowing me to use a strip tool and ratchet.

Not at this time, but I am highly considering it.

*EDIT* part of me thinks this would be a good idea since it is easier than undoing the underbody panels. But my frosted side thinks that getting her up and taking those panels off is a great time to do an inspection every ~3k miles to ensure everything is copacetic. They aren't too hard to get off and I can still drain it via the plastic hose into the oil pan.

I've had my Stinger for a month yesterday, and I've been busy. Windows tinted, vr intakes, oil catch can, gfb blow off valves, and custom muffler delete. Just ordered hks plus, will be in the market soon for a jb4. So ready for this weather to turn, so I can actually see it with some sunshine.
Besides JB4, what's the next move, will be a daily driver, so I'm not sure, leaning toward front lip, and diffuser.

Changed the steering wheel lower trim to the '21 version.
I still absolutely love this interior after 4 years (94k miles).
Pic on the left was the first pic I took of the car, in the showroom, before delivery. I'd say it looks better today

Did a drain and refill (two cycles) of the transmission fluid.
It was actually very easy. An 8mm Allen wrench for both the drain and fill port.
I used this to pump the new fluid in, I used the “atf102” attachment that came with it.

I have use the Fumoto Valve for my car since 2018 when I got mine. Life is a little easier when it come to oil changes.

It definitely looks like it'll be easier. I'm mostly worried about just ensuring all oil goes into the pan, so I got the tubing with it

Can't wait to try it out in ~3k miles

worked on getting rid of the black chrome. I wrapped the mirrors, upper and lower grills and the side vents with some matte black vinyl I had on hand. Still need to do the trim over the windows, but I like how it turned out.

Yes, I'm pretty sure I'll love it, even not pushing it anywhere near its limits. (No one wants another "Little Old Lady from Near-Pasadena" burning up the roads! ) And I'm vowing to talk to no one other than GMs from here on--not that they know much more, or they'd be properly training the reps they pass Stinger buyers on to. I'll just relax, take the GP in for a fluid check and a wash, pray I don't need to replace a tire; other than that, it happens when it happens. Maybe this was just meant to make me hold out for the snow white pearl.

I wanted a murdered out stinger GT1 or GT2. The black GT2 was used by the GM for his personal vehicle. So I had a choice of a blue GT and a white GT1. I liked the color blue more with the tan interior, but decided for the GT1 in pearl white. It has aged well, and the white has grown on me.
