What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

I added about 4.5 gallons of E85 for the first time. Got it pretty close, my fuel-it says my resulting mix was E28. Took a couple miles of driving for it to all mix thoroughly before I got a solid E28 reading.
Set my JB4 to map 3. Already feels sportier, even in comfort mode.
We'll see how it goes.

Like the stance....what are the specs on your wheels and tires?
Thanks, they are Koya SF04
Front: 245/35/19 offset 32 on a 8.5” wheel
Rear: 275/30/19 offset 38 on a 9.5” wheel

A bit of insignificant bling added today, they make no difference in functionality but I like the look of them.

Just installed the eibach pro kit. Took about 4 hours, but i have to say looks perdy good. Also just bought plugs and the mishimoto intercooler. Figured i would do that first due to heat in Texas.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I know its not everyone's cup of tea, but I finally got the underglow wired up to come on automatically whenever the car senses that its dark enough to turn the lights on/off automatically. At least, the rear and the side lights. The front will require the bumper to come off and to tap into the headlight harness, and I am waiting on some other parts to be ready before I take the front bumper off again. I'm sure in the front I can probably just tap the right wire and it will take care of the auto on/off for me, but in the rear that was not the case.

Changed the spark plugs on the weekend. This is the second time I've changed the plugs now and they definitely needed it. This set had a bit over 40,000 miles on them.

Didn't remove the manifold, as I already had the required swivel spark plug socket to do the job while leaving it in place. That attachment, along with another swivel joint and extensions made the exchange of the #5 plug not too bad. The bigger issue was the removal of the 10mm bolts that hold the coil packs in place - all of them on the passenger side are a bugger to get a socket on, so I used the offset box end wrench that I'd purchased for that purpose. Still a pain, but doable. All in all, it was about a 90 minute job. Car runs great and only some minor scrapes on my hands, so I'd call it a success.

People recommend the HKS plugs over the Denso, seem to last a bit longer.

The iridium tip probably went for a ride in your engine, hopefully directly out the exhaust valve.

The weld erodes before the iridium itself, every one of my Densos has had the same little ball at the end (yours do not).

Change the next set sooner.

Quarter inch socket set with swivels is the ticket for the coil bolts. If you have a small magnet you can stick into the socket even better. Cheers.

Yeah, I need to get a 1/4" swivel for next time. I have a 3/8" swivel, but it's a bit too large, so that once you attach the socket, the assembly is slightly too long to fit. The moral of the story is that you can never have too many socket set accessories.

M&S, always a great choice!

I did a couple things this past weekend:

Feels good to have the charge pipe install "done" and my vac lines repaired. More to do, of course, but I wasn't feeling like jacking the car up on all-fours so I could tackle sways or even the secondary downpipes.

(On the topic of secondaries... is it feasible to do those on a single pair of jack stands, or would it really be best to put the car up on 4?)

Didn’t do anything, just enjoyed it on a quiet sunny winters Sunday afternoon.

I had a busy couple of weekends.
For contrast, just now I completed a busy hour :D ...

took the mats out and sprayed them off, vacuumed down to the spare tire, wiped down all the interior surfaces (not the glass this time, as I did that a little over a month ago).
