What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

Haha, until a few years ago there was an Australian-built Ford called the 'Falcon'. Towards the end it didn't have the best reputation for technology, style nor reliability.

In the US from model years 1960 to 1970 Ford made a Falcon.

Today was a good test since it’s 99 degrees today. I definitely notice cooler IAT numbers compared to the stock intercooler. Still climbs at stop lights but drops quicker once moving. I haven’t noticed anything performance wise.

Attempted to pick up my car from the body shop today. Which, they've had 1 ENTIRE MONTH!!!

They must've thought it was April fool's day or something???


Roof trim installed, not even painted.

Broken license plate light.

Interior lookin like it sat in a pole barn for years.

Random drink wasted on the center console and floor mat.


Gloss black bumper, not so glossy in the middle for some odd reason?


And that's not even everything they messed up. Major gaps between the taillight trim and the fender where you can see the back of the taillights now, wasn't like that before. Scratches on the painted taillight trim, hood, ft fender, rear quarter panel and roof.






The car had a few hail spots before, no scratches and a bullet hole through the rear bumper.

This is the worst hack job I've ever experienced from a body shop. Have to bring it back to fix all the shit they f'd up, I'm sure I won't see my car again until August at this rate, yet somehow this shop was the highest rated near me, WTF?

A couple of people in my extended family recently had to have body work done on their (non stinger) cars and the quality was crap. Don’t know what it is these days.
There used to be a really good shop near me but has been closed for months now.

Up at 0600 to wash the car. It's been hot as fu.... here lately mid to upper 90's F. Early morning is about the best time.

Found some new chips on the front bumper skin. Will fill those in with touchup later. That ceramic silver is magnet for bugs.

Better then a Chevy cruise when you are 6'3". I was looking out the back windows to scan for traffic. I bet some people where doing a double take when they did not see a driver in the front window !

Yes I’ve seen those on my last visit there, were they RWD with 4.1L straight 6 turbo or 5L V8 like the AU Falcons.

The last version of the US Fusion was based on the European Mondeo. So front wheel drive, and either a straight 4 or V6

Well I didn't do anything to my Stinger today, but someone else did! Found my very first scratch on the rear driver side door. By judging the height, it must have been an SUV or a truck's door.

And as usual, no note or anything left behind.
