Vehicle Off, doors closed, hood open waited one minute. Removed 20AMP "4WD" Fuse. Started vehicle and sat for 5 minutes prior to moving, shifted to Drive and drive slowly, and I mean slowly for a quarter mile. Zero lights, wasn't really sure it disabled anything.
I decided whatever, punched it and jeeeeez. 100% RWD, zero lights, power steering working. It was truly a RWD setup. Even laid down a little rubber. I will continue to make small trips to and from the office on back roads to see if the ECU/TCU catches anything and report back. I will know resume my search for a LSD (Limited Slip Differential), since the open diff is a bit sketch lol
Not as good as I had hoped. Still chasing the elusive 500... Best run today was 487 at the wheels.
My best run to date was 494 at the wheels back in March 2021.
Gonna change some more things up, and try again here soon.
St Paul had 21" of snow over the weekend got the snows and winter rims put on today.
Checked the forecast for this week, turns out its supposed to be 50 on Wednesday, yes 50 in December in MN! Looks like I'll be driving my son's car if I gotta go anywhere that day.

Yeah, I honestly think the grey g70 wheels look better than the stock 19s with my color combo. I thought the calipers would be covered up but you can still clearly see them. In person looks like they just belong on the car, should come stock with them but 19s instead of 18s.

What a "half hour" Optimum No Rinse wash can accomplish, once it is above freezing. (When it is this dirty, I do go over it first with a hot soft water bucket rinse-down: today I used two buckets, or about 4 gallons, rinsing the towels out between buckets; the buckets are close to empty by the time the rinse-down is done: thus, the quotes around "half hour". )

Why have I not seen any Stingers in silver in person besides premium models or the 4 cylinder model? Seen literally every other color in either gt/gt1/gt2/gts/indigo.
It would be a tough choice if silver was available (vs ceramic silver). I'd probably go with the silver just because its a more bland color (no offense) and less likely to attract attention. The previous honda accord was silver too. No one pays attention to silver cars.

I have not seen another positively IDed Silky Silver in 3.3L: I saw a Silky Silver on the freeway in LA in February 2020, but could not tell if it was a 3.3L. I have seen two, count 'em, two, 2.0L Silky Silvers out of a total of 129 "wild sightings". Why Kia made the Silky Silver rare and then cancelled the color altogether is a mystery.
