What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

Wish my box of sway bars showed up like this....mine was all busted up and parts loose all in the box. Also, nice mower...had one of those back in the day.

Thank you- that mower has been a champ! Sorry to hear your box came all destroyed; that sucks. I ordered this from Summit Racing; had a killer Black Friday sale and it was available immediately; ordered it Friday afternoon and it arrived from TX Sunday morning.

It was about two months. Maybe they shop faster now.

Over the last week I've done the following detail work to the car:

1. Wash
2. Clay bar
3. Touched up paint chips with the HiChroma paint pen from Kia
4. Paint correction with swirl remover
5. Polished the paint
6. CQuartz by CarPro ceramic coat on the paint

Non-detail items I completed:

1. Installed Rokblokz splash guards
2. Blacked out the OEM wheels and wheel caps
3. Blacked out the rear badges

How did you black out the rear badges?

Installed my K&N intakes with the ADD W1 carbon fiber heat shields. Also upgraded to UPR check valves on the OCC.

Got the same check valves. Just waiting on my ADDW1 red clamps to come in and I'll install them.
The quality of the UPR check valves is unreal. Careful with the clamps when screwing them in. The screws strip easy and I had to reorder one.

Does the Snorkel end feed cold air into kn air box like AEM does? Do you feel the filter heat sheild does the job? Now all you need is a nice set of BMS Strut Braces in red for the engine bay
Yes it feeds into the air box the same way. Honestly just wanted those shields for aesthetics but they do work. Only problem and complaint is they sit high so they have already gotten marked up from the top of the hood. And I just installed them yesterday. So maybe I’ll play around with trying to sink them in more. Yes red BMS brace is next on the list.

Headed to get these installed. Excited from what everyone has had to say about this set up. 91D1863B-F25F-4B12-A5EE-0D2A04D42E10.webp

Finally got sways installed and a good wash. Really can't overstate how good the sways are. A bear to install, but so worth it.
Do the sway bars improve handling that much better than stock?

Here's my experience; very similar to others. I drove the car around prior to the install on some of my favorite roads and corners to get a good "before feeling" for the car.

Note I have AWD, staggered wheels.

After install:
  • COMFORT: the car was much smoother around corners. Body roll on sweeping corners was drastically reduced and the only really felt the G-force pushing my body against the seat bolsters. The steering response was almost identical. Doing quick lane changes did induce body roll, but it was much improved. Aggressive cornering in a roundabout induced a little roll but still felt very planted.
  • SPORT: this is where it really shines. body roll felt entirely gone. The car responded to steering input immediately and confidently. Quick lane changes were crisp and immediate with no noticeable body roll at all. During aggressive cornering in a roundabout, the car did not roll at all and the rear end about stepped out on me. I lifted off the throttle immediately and the car came back in line. I am assuming if I continued applying power, this would have induced oversteer. I didn't, but I was left with the impression it would have been very manageable oversteer. (I just did not want to smack a curb as there was little room to actually put the car anywhere other than straight.)
