Thanks and prepare to be surprised. This car's a big change for me. I've loved light cars with knife-like handling with a modified Evolution 8 in and out of storage from time to time. But my daily for 16 years was a 2000 Toyota Celica GT-S (two of them over time) which I just replaced with a '16 Fiesta ST last December. The technology's still mind-blowing. But not rowing through the gears and having power like this with some luxury has been something I wanted to move into.
I wasn't going to buy now, just liquidate some parts, etc. and build cash. But my wife said, "Merry Christmas!" and insisted I go back to the dealership after my test drive and buy it. She had to tell me five times. But that talked me into it! Not even 300 miles yet. Heading to the dealership today to order winter mats and cargo tray...
No I mainly felt it coming from the front doors. Tomorrow I'm going to try the two setting that change it from audience listening or stage listening I think is what it is.And did you hear or feel them?
I passed 600 miles and am ready to do some launch control shenanigans!
Btw I was following the recommended break in process from the owners manual so that's where the 600 miles come from.
Well! I'm glad to hear everything works well in such cold weather. I miss Chicago (Magnificent Mile) in the Winter...Drove it to Chicago in single-digit (Fahrenheit) temperatures. And drove it home today in all sub-zero temperatures. Those numbers, of course, are before wind chill gets calculated. It sat outside overnight. This morning, after it had been in sub-zero for many hours, it turned over a number of times before it fired up. But it fired up and was great! I was able to open the hatch and doors prior to starting it without any problem, as well.
Oh! And my first use of the Nav. Some features there I really like. I need to read the manual though, so I can use voice to have it do things. LOL Raising your voice when the Nav doesn't understand your request doesn't seem to help.
I finished E-Badging and switching the center hubs. What a world of difference! Call me shallow or whatever but that KIA logo DOES.NOT.LOOK.GOOD.ON.THIS.CAR!

I deserve a prize what with the amount of adhesive that front KIA logo left behind! Good grief!
