What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

I've got secondary cat delete and MBRP catback. Used the same material but only installed in the hatch. Did absolutely nothing for me. Applying on the back seat is most likely the secret sauce.

Do you have aftermarket exhaust tips? If so, do they touch the plastic in the holes? I've got a theory a lot of my hum were vibrations being directly transferred by a lack of an airgap between the tips and car.

On a different note, that purple is sexy as hell.

Thank you!

I should have mentioned this initially, I applied sound deadening in just the hatch and did a few test drives - didn't notice any improvement on reverb from the cabin.
I then tried the exhaust wrap solution and it was a massive difference. Using exhaust wrap, you're filling in the gap between the exhaust and tips.
Just wrap two tips and try it out, if you wrap all four you may not like how quiet it has become.

Its cheap ebay 5d gloss carbon...i was not sure how it would look, but it's pretty good ..I'm thinking of getting struts anodized in future...:)

Nice wheels!!! Could you give me the specs on the wheels and what size tires you installed? Are you lowered? Where did you purchase? Sorry for all the questions. I'm due for new tires soon and will be purchasing wheels also. I've narrowed it down to either the Vossen HF-1 gloss black machine tinted or the Stances you have. Thanks.

Got the undercarriage sprayed off for the first time this winter season. (Winter is two days in, by the meteorological calendar, btw. :P)

I learned I suck a applying smoke tent to the headlights. And found these off white specs under the hood. Any ideas??? I've tried cleaning it with no luck. I had it at the dealership a month ago and hate to admit this is the first time I've looked under the hood since my visit.20191202_142919.webp

Guilty here. I think that the last time I had my hood opened was in September. :P Don't recall what the reason was for opening it. Oh, yes I do: to help answer the question about the use of "electrical tape" on the wire harness/bundle.

You need to return to the dealer and have them tell you what they did to your car.

Wheel specs: 20X9 +30 | 20X10.5 +45
Tire specs: Conti DWS06. Front:245/35/20 Rear:275/35/20. I wanted to run a thicker side wall in the rear. I had 30 profile before, and that appears to be what most run, but my first set of wheels had a hairline crack on the rim. Switched to all-seasons for the "winter" in Texas, curious to see how long these last since I keep burning my summers in 8k miles or so. I do hear some rubbing on a hilly/bumpy road I was on, Nick suggested adding 1* of camber to clear. If you don't want to mess with alignment, sick with 30 profile in the rear if you're lowered.
Eibach Springs, RWD.
@NICK_KHAR - Nick from Khartunerz is who I purchased from. He's my go to for anything Stinger related. Always quick to reply, great customer service.

Thanks for the reply Jon! Great information! I agree, Nick is a great vendor. I've bought a few things from him. Come Spring ... and when my wallet is fat again and my rubber is spent, I will be giving Khartuner's a visit for new wheels and tires.
