What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

^^^I wonder if there are strategic places we can put them in the car, and just leave it there. My car sits outside for a chunk of the day at work, and it's in an area where mice are likely present this time of the year.

Nice! Did you do it yourself or have someone local do it? I’m in Auburn, GA and would like to have a reputable shop do it that I would trust do it.

who knew?
years of winters with harleys and bmw's being stored in sheds ;eventually a misplaced box of bounce ended up on a bike or beemer somewhere.......

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Chemical Guys had a soft and softer one, so I bought both: one for outside cleaning/dusting, and the other for the interior. Now, which one should be used for which? (Natural boar's hair. And btw, Chemical Guys rock for fast delivery.)DSC08557.webp

Thinking about a battery hook up....for trickle charging after a few years are put on, and the winter(s) is/are relentless........

OMG, glad I live in a respectable climate.
My thoughts exactly.
We can rejoice in the fact we can drive our Stingers all year round ( have FUN in them ALL YEAR ROUND ) sorry for rubbing it in !
No putting them into Hibernation over Winter. The only things I put into Hibernation for winter were my pet Tortoise when I was a kid in the UK.
Put them in a box with newspaper and straw/ hay then into the shed they went until Spring. Much less complicated than preparation for Stinger's hibernation.

In Upstate New York, the first snowflakes bring out the cursed salt trucks and the road turns white with salt until late March. Snow is forecast for this weekend. Yesterday, I washed the Stinger (foam, two buckets and leaf blower dry). Today, put the beast in the garage for winter storage. Preparation: wash (foam, two buckets and leaf blower dry); inflate tires to 42psi to prevent flat spots; stabil in gas tank and fill tank to full; plastic drop cloth placed on concrete garage floor; cteck3300 trickle charger connected to battery; electronic mouse repellers in engine compartment and trunk; Carsorb on inside floors to absorb moisture; steel wool pads in tail pipes; mouse sticky pads around all four tires and finally a breathable cover to keep off any dust.

Winter Storage complete and winter beater gassed and ready to go.

Really going to miss the Stinger’s speed and handling but the snow, slush and salt just eats up cars in this region. At every stop today, people marveled at my micro blue beauty.
A well thought-out winterizing!
While I will not hibernate my Stinger, I do plan to drive it less this winter. Reasons being, 1) I've piled up a lot of miles since May '18 - 45000, and 2) Too many white knuckles last winter given all the sheer-ice conditions coupled with all the knuckle-head drivers - like the tail-gaters with one and on the wheel and the other holding their cell phone to their ear. I plan to drive the 'beater' - a 2009 Sorento. Handles like a beach ball, but it's like a tank in snow. Plus, if I hit the ditch or a deer.. meh.
But, the Stinger will get out a couple times/week with her 'winter boots' on (Michelin Ice X's). Honestly, the most fun I've had driving the car is on a twisty with 4-5 inches of new snow! Sport mode; traction control off; stability control on; steer with throttle. Weeeee!

1. Did few pulls at night
2. Installed a catch can
3. Ran a dyno test
4. Washed the car

1st car wash after putting a ceramic coat on. WOW!!!!!! so much easier to clean..
yeah I bought a few of the maguires hybrid ceramic wax.......it uses a car wash application so to speak with similar results....easy to clean with beads of water......but lasts just over a month...then you need to reapply.

That's easier than what I did. I spent 12 hours prepping polishing applying 2 layers but if it continues to last it was worth it.
