What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

55F03C67-6684-47AA-87D1-EAB7094AFB28.webp Tint done. 15% on all the back. Sadly any passenger/driver window tinting is a no no here in BC. Thought about doing it anyways but decided not worth the hassle.

Red on Red (w/Black). Oddest thing I've seen Stinger-wise so far. What was the actual point? Did he take the Stinger off the trailer, or just show off his rig that way?
He did take it off the trailer, he sponsors the meet. Colour choice is his own personal preferrence.

Caught a couple taking pics like they own her and want to post on IG...

First oil change at 6248 miles - Mobil 1 5W30, can't beat Costco at ~$4.50/qt, I pick it up when it's on sale. I also use it in my Sorento and my truck, so I usually have a couple of cases sitting around. She's been sitting for more than 2 months now, since my trip to TN/NC with my daughter in early June. Finally got the strength to change the oil - thru the dipstick using the extraction pump. Sure wish they hadn't put the filter underneath though. At least any spills come out thru the access hole cleanly, but my Sorento, ex's Soul, daughters Challenger, all are on top so it's so much easier! From now on I'll do it at every 5k interval - starting at 10k. It's just easier to keep track that way.

Having not driven her in a while, I've got plenty of spare lease miles "banked up" for some nice road trips in the coming months..

Showed her some love:)

Got my Velossa Big Mouths in this afternoon, put them on after work. Forgot to log the IATs but I got a couple logs to compare it, not like we’ll be cooling down anytime soon here in Texas lol.

How are you liking that Vintage K 4.0 badge in the front? I currently have the metal skin but looking at replacing with something that looks better. Can I get a closeup pic?

I like it, it looks good, the only thing that bugged me a little is it being flat, the middle section doesn't full close the gap. There is no light going through it so I think the adhesive fills it in, but if looking at it from the top you can see. But I'll get a close up when in a little bit. But like I said it looks good, the black chrome is a pretty good match to the rest. If there ever was a 5.0 I would like if the black background was clear coated I think would look good.

I actually had bought the regular Vintage K emblem but the quality was poor. the center section basically fell out of the badge. I went with the metal skin because I had already ordered the replacement badges for the rims and steering wheel. Only have the large stinger script of the back and removed the other badges. Have thought about going with the "E" replacements but with my PPF on the front, the opening is oval not round.

Exactly what happened to me, I did not know the previous owner had done PPF on the front bumper and when I went to go put the "E" badge i had the oval cut out.. So I had to go back and order an oval and decided the Vintage K 4.0 was the best one. I plan to keep it on there until the PPF needs replacing and then I will install the "E" badge. But this time have them put the PPF while there is nothing on there to avoid having a cutout when emblems are removed.

The quality on this one is nice, the "K" is added on top of the oval but seems to be sturdy on there.

I guess I'll give it a try. I'll likely have my detail guy do the badge removal since he did the others when he did the ceramic coating. I wanted to do gloss black wrap on the roof, window trim and all the black chrome. The chrome looks nice when clean but it doesn't stay that way long.

Yeah problem I'm having right now, there is little blemishes on the front chrome nothing too bad though, the window trim is already dull from previous owner. But I am thinking about what color to wrap it the chrome. I do really like the black chrome look but not when it's going to get messed up.

Took her in yesterday for a "chrome delete". I plastidipped the front and rear emblems myself but left the rest to the pros. Very happy with how it turned out.

I would love to see it on a Silky Silver. It looks great on the Ceramic Silver though. I may just have to bite the bullet and do it to find out.

Is it all wrapped? How much did it run you?
Yes, wrapped both front grille rings, side mirrors, stripe on hood vents, vertical bar inside front air ducts, side vents and window trim above windows. They also redid my amber delete on the headlights since I wasn't happy with what I did. $600 total.

I love the original with the nice chrome accents and the nice clean Kia badges. Clean and original hmmm hmmmm hmmmm.
I get that. I'm just not a fan of chrome. To each his own.

Sweet! By the way, where are you? Looks like Riverside County? I’m over in Brea.

Here’s mine:

Powder coated wheels, gloss black badges, Ark GT-F Springs, tint, E Badges, etc. I think I’m pretty much done.
