What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

It was at this time...I realized buying a black car was a mistake in GA
I don't think it matters where you are, black is always a love/hate relationship. My other car is black, and while it looks quite stunning when it's clean and polished, keeping it that way is an occupation in itself ... :)

There was a beautiful black Stinger with red Nappa interior in the showroom where I bought my car, and I must confess I spent a fair amount of time in and around it. But after a year's happy ownership, I'm still loving the white pearl that I ended up ordering/purchasing, and very glad I made that choice.

Im buying my next Stinger in yellow so polen problem solved.:D

Yes it does. Just use good soft water to avoid water spots if you are only rinsing and not washing. My well water doesn’t allow me to do this. It’s a full wash or nothing.

JB4 arriving "by 8 p.m. today".

Man, the clock is slow....

@50StingerGT2 apparently you are having too much fun to post much! ;) I keep thinking of visiting a track for the first time in my life. The notion won't go away. This car does that to me! :D

Yeah agreed, they say once you go black you never go back but not for me, cannot tolerate how hard is to maintain a black paint.:D:rofl:

I run mine through once a week. Basic wash makes the car look brand new. It's two exits from the office so I have some time for some el' natural blow drying on the highway. A quick wipedown with spray wax in the door jams gets any water spotting removed.

I haven't actually washed my ceramic coated Stinger in a month or two.

Im a semi pro detailer and I couldn't live without washing my car at least 2-3 times a month. Just wiping your car without washing it can inflict serious swirls into your paint, sacrilege! :D

Considered them but instead have the rear side markers covered with matching colored vinyl wrap for a cleaner look. Also, don’t need the Stinger word on every side of the car.
That’s true ... they look kinda cool .. where did you purchase your wrap to match and did you have it professionally done? Guessing for my sunset yellow it would be harder to match on a wrap

Installed, can only test to a point given the current heavy rain. But it's looking good so far

Yes, sunset yellow will be hard to match but you never know. There are at least 5-6 major suppliers of vinyl wrap. Check them all. For any silky silvers out there, the 3M gloss white aluminum nearly matches exactly. It’s really no worse than bumpers vs body paint and the usual difference you see there. I did the markers myself, as I did part of the roof, when no local “professional” could seem to get it right. Starting to wrap my 2003 Tundra tomorrow.

Eibach Pro Kit. Front End Links. Ark 270's 19x9.5 square. Pilot Sport 4s "limited" 255/35/19 square. The black stinger vinyl I got from a guy after seeing it on FB. Turned out to be crap quality, have a local company making something similar in a color that matches the wheels better. The strip will cover the bottom of both doors. Still need to put on the color matched spoiler and rear diffuser. Front lip and side/rear skirts on order.56157924_308929779752510_6706747503225602048_n.webp 56169820_617927262002949_2543789690675265536_n.webp 56279939_597824267359791_3519598069823832064_n.webp 56314732_318321942210117_509351274123100160_n.webp 56157924_308929779752510_6706747503225602048_n.webp 56169820_617927262002949_2543789690675265536_n.webp 56279939_597824267359791_3519598069823832064_n.webp 56314732_318321942210117_509351274123100160_n.webp 56369796_807457702939480_7137246841401245696_n.webp 56387524_347637915875399_2568701093697552384_n.webp

I’ve been creeping on the forms for awhile now. Not much of a form/social media person. After just the intakes I had a “baseline” dyno done. Hopefully, soon, I can get a current dyno done and see what I’m producing. (This is an AWD Dynojet)

Also, a group of neighbors and I want to hit our local track for a track class (which will give us access to open track days). The group includes the newest Audi RS7 edition, a Super charger FBO Coyote 2016 mustang, and a Tesla Model 3 (long range/track edition). My Kia dealership actually wants to come out and film it for promo reasons. I’ve driven the track, a lot, but never in a performance car. When it Happens, I’ll be sure to update you guys.
