No, don't do that. That only increases the likelihood of the rest of the car looking a different shade! The priority should be to match: then get PPF at the earliest opportunity after the paint cures all the way.

Merlin is correct , more paint increases the depth of coverage and it will darken the look of the color , proper pre paint preparation , prime and color coat and clear all properly applied will be tough ................

ALL plastic bumpers will show a slightly different color on ALL colors vs metal even on black . Proper paint application not more paint is the answer to color coverage and durability ....................

    1. What wheel size and offsets did you get for the front and back?

    3. Can you provide a link to where you purchased them?

I gave my baby a wash and vacuum, and then drove nearly 300km to Port Macquarie NSW for a conference, and promptly got the front end splattered with kamikaze bugs. Such are the joys of driving on a 30° day during the Australian summer. Now I’ll have to wash her again but not until after the return trip. 6E0A8DBF-E887-451A-82F1-B28E57EB111B.jpeg 18E43FE5-61FC-4FCB-A987-33E8A9147641.jpeg 83819916-8A46-4071-908D-4FDEC36061C9.jpeg 4954F07F-BB1A-42BA-AF44-0CDB672CA695.jpeg

Just giving an update with my paint stain after my service. Just got off the phone with Kia Australia who officially tell me..... They can't do anything. Of course not. That's exactly what I was expecting. They told me I have to take this up with the manager of the service department where the car was serviced, but yeah I'm still waiting for the tool to call me back and it's been almost a week. Looks like this fix is coming out of MY pocket. I am NOT happy and I'm going to be making a hell of a noise about this.
