The AWD Stinger is a "plow" in the snow, the polar (

) opposite of a "hockey puck". Even with only A/S tires. On the freeways last winter, with slushy snow between the lanes three and more inches deep, I could angle to change lanes and hear the snow beating on the bottom of the chassis and wheel wells but the wheels stayed solidly planted to the road: no hunting side to side or lifting. Solid. I was easily the fastest (relatively, we were all doing under 50 MPH most of the time); and the only one changing lanes to take advantage of open spaces; you could say that I changed lanes with impunity!

Just make sure you go easily enough around corners and maintain lots of distance; those are the number one and number two rules of winter weather driving.
