Thanks for the info! Now waiting for the velositech question to be answered, if it's a go, I'm definitely in!
Great question guys! I'm in direct contact with Wagner Tuning right now, they are going to check with the engineer in Germany and get back to me ASAP. I will update you guys as soon as I hear back from them.
Let me just say that I am very confident this setup will outperform any/all other intercoolers on the market thus far for this platform. German engineering mixed with lots and lots of R&D from Wagner is what will make this the best option for the Stinger IMHO. Time will tell, but I truly believe this is going to kill the intercooler game in its tracks!
Thanks Angel, I agree with the 1st part, but I think this will make more of a difference in performance compared to other intercoolers offered, as I think with a 175% larger frontal surface area & 183% more core volume, the air intake temps will be much lower with this intercooler than others for the Stinger, essentially allowing for more power gains.
You're very welcome, sounds good! Thanks for the info! Now waiting for the velositech question to be answered, if it's a go, I'm definitely in!
No problem, my pleasure. Will definitely keep you and everyone else up to date as soon as I have an update to post. Thanks for you updates. Please keep me updated.
I personally think like I stated on my prior post that this will be the best intercooler to date. I also think is the best looking one too.
I personally will be buying this Intercooler if I can get all of my questions answered.
That way I know to sell my ducts.
Do you know what the discount will be for those that pre-order with you?

I think so too and agree 100%!!
Sweet happy to hear you are on board as well!
Stay tuned....

That intercooler is awesome, but rated for 800hp, which isn't something most Stinger owners will ever see. At a price of almost double the Wagner, it may prove to be a difficult purchase for most. This Wagner intercooler looks good, nice and big.
However it lacks all the piping & merge pipe that the Jonny Tig comes with.
I think that the Jonny Tig will have better overall flow.

I would absolutely hope so! Let's give it a chance to be released first so real world testing can be done. We have been selling Wagner Intercoolers for the Kia market now for half a decade and have already sold over 50 to Kia Optima customers. One of the moderators over on the Optima Forums did a before and after dyno on the Wagner Intercooler for his 2.0T Optima, and it made about 11hp on a bone stock car. So I am very hopeful and confident we will see high success with this one for the Stinger. Is there going to be any data to back this up? At a certain point a larger IC isn’t actually beneficial.
Any testing of pressure drop or post IC temp drop?
We shall know very soon!I'm in if it includes the ducts circled in red.
I am in as well if the ducts come and just help the community out by providing a group discount or something. We shall know very soon!![]()
We are arranging the group buy now, and will be making a new post shortly.I am in as well if the ducts come and just help the community out by providing a group discount or something.

Yep yep, so about $1,356 USD at the current conversion. (Plus international shipping I would imagine)Keep in mind that the JT intercooler comes with the charge pipe included, the Wagner doesn't, also the price that you see is in AUD so it is less when your convert it to USD.

Judging by this picture when I installed VT's, I dont think it will fit with the wagner intercooler. So the Wagner ducts is a must for me, because the ducts play a vital roll in the air flow and cooling.
Would be nice if Wagner would do the intercooler piping as well, even if at a later stage.
Once I have an update to post, I absolutely will. It makes no sense to withhold the info until someone asks for it. We are waiting for the engineers to get back to Wagner to confirm. Once I get this info, you guys will be the 1st to know.Any update on this? Are the ducts included?
Please allow this information to come out first before assuming the worst based off of speculation. We will know very soon either way!I don't think the VT ducts will work. Otherwise I will just buy the Agency power one and custom make my own IC piping.
Again, please allow this information to come to light before making an assumption about whether it is included or not and how expensive the kit is. I am VERY good friends with the owner of Wagner USA, and we talk regularly. He hasn't spoken to anyone about this over the phone he confirmed with me when we spoke a few minutes ago, but said you might have spoken with his son regarding this. He has asked me to ask you guys to please hang in there as he will have the answer very soon!I have a feeling that the ducts might not be included. When I called Wagner USA they told that all that is included is what is on the picture, and the ducts are not on the picture. I am not trying to pay extra either for some ducts. The intercooler is already expensive as is.
Hopefully, that is not the case, but we shall all know soon enough.Judging by this picture when I installed VT's, I dont think it will fit with the wagner intercooler. So the Wagner ducts is a must for me, because the ducts play a vital roll in the air flow and cooling.

I didn't say that you calling them and the information you said they gave you was an assumption, I used the forum software to "quote" the part that you posted that I was saying was an assumption, which was:FYI
"When I called Wagner USA they told that all that is included is what is on the picture, and the ducts are not on the picture."
This is not an assumption? This is a fact, I called and this is what I was told by Wagner USA. I have no reason to assume or make things up.
"Let me just say that I am very confident this setup will outperform any/all other intercoolers on the market thus far for this platform. The is an assumption by you. I didn't discredit your assumption or told you not to share it. For all we know this intercooler can be just as effective as the AP intercooler for half the price. We wont know know into there is actual testing and data.
Anyways I made an assumption on the fitment of the VT snorkles. By the look of the the pictures they might not fit with this intercooler.
My apologies if something I said offended you. I am looking at this situation from a customer perspective not a vendors perspective.

That absolutely was an assumption....
I am not interested in getting into an argument with you, I am simply asking you not to discredit the product before it is even released, and/or all of the information about the product has come out, so that both customers and vendors alike can have accurate confirmed information.
Thank you for your apology, you didn't offend me at all. I just think it's best to be patient and allow for the information to be released before speculating and assuming the worst. I also apologize if I offended you by my post quoting you, as that was NOT my intentions.
The part you quoted that I had said, was more from experience that I have personally had with the brand in the past, and more of an educated guess, based on the past experience I have had, than an assumption. I truly believe in the brand as I had their product on my 2012 Optima SX Turbo back in the day, and it was/is one heck of an intercooler.
