Confirmed test fit completed on the new Gemini-AR hood here in the States. They'll be popping these out in carbon fiber and fiberglass (for those who want to paint match) so more updates to follow...
Hey aggressiveness isn’t for everyone that’s for sure. This type of event look is pretty popular these days, so I guess we’ll see once the carbon ones start popping out
Why does the hood look like it's chipped or peeling at the leading edge? Yea I'd have to agree this ain't for me. Makes the Stinger look like a reject from the original Fast and Furious movie.
It's not the aggressiveness, it's just a tacky design. For example the vents get wider towards the front where the bonnet gets narrower. Seems backwards aesthetically
The design of the hood doesn't seem to be cohesive with the rest of the car. It reminds of some of the good old Japanese cars (modified) in the past. I guess you have to see it in person to have a better idea.
Gone, is the Island and replaced by vents, big ones, tapering to the rear. Some will think this looks sooo cool. Cars are the quintessence of individual taste. These will sell. Well? Probably not that well.
And I have to wonder how the wet will interact with the engine through all those vents. Isn't this just asking for the engine compartment to receive a drenching?
I think it's HOT! Reminds me of my dream car when I was 7 years old - the car from Corvette Summer. Just needs some flames, side pipes and T-top and I'll be livin' the dream!
