I'm newish to the area. There seems to be a decent car scene here. The mountain curves seems to draw in car enthusiasts.

Are the passes generally open May'ish?

Most of the high mountain passes are not open until late May. A close drive is up over Traverse ridge down in Draper and over to Highland. You can always just drive up one of the canyons towards the resorts, but those canyons are busy. I’m sure others will have other suggestions. Welcome to the area!

If you look back over the comments a year, two years ago, you'll see that Alpine Loop and Guardsman Pass only open late May, early June. So, any really cool drives into the mountains are going to be after that.

@ryno5514 Hairdryer on high for 45sec + automotive goo gone, if you want to self remove any their lettering. The vinyl peels off easy, though you'll definitely want to have something paint friendly to buff out the adhesive.

Good enough, three makes a "swarm". Nine o'clock Saturday morning, the 24th Instant. @P22Tyler lives right next door, to the north I believe (or did, the last I heard). @Deisic is active, he's in S. Jordan. There are others, but I haven't seen them on here in quite awhile.

Damn it, I haven't been on on a while so I missed it! Argh! My backyard has a gate that goes literally into the park, I could have probably seen you guys from my living room if I really tried, damn damn damn! Now I'm bummed. Looks like you guys had a good time, I'll try to make next one.
