• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Utah Stingers

Saved this pic for my calendar options folder; sort of a memento as well. I've enjoyed thinking of a Micro Blue sitting somewhere in eastern Utah. Did you sell to a local buyer, or somebody out of State?
Sold it to Vroom, one of those online places. They came and picked it up, which was nice. Others wanted me to drive it across the country.

Used 2018 Kia Stinger For Sale ($26,980) | Vroom

Right there if you want to see it when they update it.

Another Utah Stinger owner

MY21 Stinger GT1 Ceramic Silver in Utah County purchased from Doug Smith Kia.

Hey all Stinger Utahns! Anyone here wants to help me with installing Jb4 and a spark plug + re-gap? I can pay :) I am located in the Orem area, but can drive down to SLC.

@jmcbgardner and I met a couple of days ago (here in West Jordan) and chatted about stuff (mainly our cars) for over a hour. He said it would be fun to have a Utah meet and share what we've done to our Stingers. So, here I am, passing the idea along. If any of yous are interested, post here and we'll set something up.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I have a set of 4 pilot 4’s that came with my 2018 gt2 for sale cheap if anyone wants them. They have probably 7k miles on them. All 4 for $400

That's good, if they are not worn out. :P A staggered setup can easily peel through the rear tires in 7K miles.

I don't know if you read back over this thread much, but when we first talked about this I suggested a very cool "loop" that I've done; takes about three hours, so, maybe a bit much for some people. Anyway, here it is: Utah Stingers Utah Stingers Utah Stingers

As you can see, I tried. :P If anything happens, it will be kismet.

I love the fact I cannot reply to anyone's about a meet up.

I just picked one up myself and been trying to figure what exhaust system to buy, but want to hear them before I buy. So was checking here to see if there was anything like a meet up for UT stingers. Let me know if this kicks off I am down, trying to figure out what things mod first. I just seen the 2021 Stingers and Kia seems to be watching the mods people are doing, the logos are like the mods people do here.

Howdy, @ryno5514, what part of Utah do you hang out at?

Hey all, Traded in the ST last week - still hits the feels. But wow what an upgrade. Loving it, even though I haven't broke 4k RPM. Hoping to hear some different exhaust notes in person. Going from an unrestricted ST to stock Stinger is unfulfilling from a sound perspective. Hoping to land somewhere right in the middle for the Stinger without having warranty wars with the dealer.

Anyway, I'd be down for a local meet - SLC here.

So, by the look of things at the moment, several of us locals are checking this thread this morning, within the last hour, even. Does this mean that we can arrange a meet? We just have to say a place and time, then see who shows up. That's how these are done. :D

I can do that, or later if others find that "too early". :P

Good enough, three makes a "swarm". Nine o'clock Saturday morning, the 24th Instant. :D @P22Tyler lives right next door, to the north I believe (or did, the last I heard). @Deisic is active, he's in S. Jordan. There are others, but I haven't seen them on here in quite awhile.

Where in the park? Anyone else familiar with Murray Park? Constitution Circle (1.) is a one-way counter-clockwise road, with parallel parking on the west side, and a short row of parking stalls at the south end (availability on Saturday morning? who can say?). The central parking lot (2.) has the hillside going up to the "rugby fields" for use as an unbusy background for taking swarm pics, and that south end is the least likely to have anybody else parked there. The parking lot for the rugby fields (3.) is big and mostly unused unless there are games scheduled (I have no idea). The parking for the swimming pool (4.) is likely to have others using it. Parking for the pavilions and soccer fields (5.) is likely to have other people parking there, but it's pretty big, so there might be a section that we could take over. The "football" parking lot (6.) is where I've parked the most often (see pic), and it usually has some cars in it too. Frankly, I don't know how busy the park will be near the end of April on a Saturday morning. :P
