Great price on a loaded ‘22.Hi all. New member here. Just picked up my Stinger! Hopefully I didn’t get ripped off by the dealer. It’s a 2022 GT2 scorpion AWD 24k miles. I paid $40,500. What do you think?
Hi All,
Looking at a 2022 GT1 AWD with 13k miles, CPO, 1 owner, regular oil changes on carfax. Price is $40k.
Do you think there's any room to negotiate these days? If so, what would be a reasonable offer?
Was thinking ~$37k or so.
Also, seeing a couple new GT-Lines for $41k. Think dealers will negotiate on new?
Thanks
Thank youIt really depends on the dealer and what they paid for it. $39-41k is a typical asking price for a CPO with low miles from what I'm seeing, depending on location. You may not be able to negotiate that much off, but it's worth a try. Just make the offer and see if they respond with a counter.
Same goes for new. If you finance with the dealer, they may be more likely to negotiate a bit more. The market isn't quite as crazy as it once was, so you may be able to get a bit off MSRP.
So turns out that the GT1 had $3k in hidden fees and "dealer installed options", plus they raised the asking price $1k, so that ones out.It really depends on the dealer and what they paid for it. $39-41k is a typical asking price for a CPO with low miles from what I'm seeing, depending on location. Locally, there is now a 22 CPO GT1 with 26k for $39k. If I can get to $37k would that be reasonable?
I think $37-38k would be a fair price. Good luck!Locally, there is now a 22 CPO GT1 with 26k for $39k. If I can get to $37k would that be reasonable?

You're right about this beginning the used Stinger wave of purchases. Don't know how big that wave is likely to be or for how long.Just made a deal on a 2020 GT Indigo Special edition for 27K out the door (25.5 for the car) with 50k miles. I was able to haggle him down pretty well using the fact that it has a cracked bumper as leverage. I get the feeling we're about to start seeing a fair few people who were previously priced out of these starting to be able to get their hands on some reasonably used ones
Yeah, I am in the same boat. Bought an 18 GT2 AWD with 15K miles for $40k two years ago at Carmax! Now it's probably only worth half that! It's shocking how much they've dropped! I paid cash for mine and don't plan to sell it any time soon. And I never planned on building equity, but come on! I honestly thought that the value would at least stay flat or go up in value due to the fact that the Stinger was discontinued last year. I would think this would create a demand and limited inventory (new and used) to drive the price. These prices are really hurting me….. I could have gotten a 2021 for the same price as I got my 2018 a year and a half ago. DANG!
Nice buy! Some dealers are willing to negotiate more now that the market is no longer in the dealer's favor. Some are sticking with their high prices. Bought a used '23 CPO GT2 (white/red) with 5400 miles over the weekend for $43.5. No extra fees other than the usual TTL and doc.
