All aftermarket emblems cover the holes in the front and rear. There are no alignment posts on any aftermarket emblem.

Pretty sure he meant covering the holes like OP had to do by moving his emblem high. The one you're describing sounds like it has some kind of plaque behind which yes would cover the holes, but aesthetically... ehh.

I'll reserve judgement until I see this thing.

ACTUALLY... I might be wrong about that "black background". I think it IS just the text itself. Let me check on that and write back...

It sounds to me like it's more of a badge/emblem. It won't be for everybody. My Photoshop skills aren't the greatest - but this is a mockup of what I am imagining... Again, NOTHING is "everyone's cup of tea" - but it'll be easy to cover the holes with this one while centering at either the front or rear...

I think I'd be interested in this if it was an overlay for front, wheel caps and steering wheel. The large Stinger Script will remain on the rear. Still not too keen on removing the front badge with all the horror stories of paint damage.

I'm looking into overlays. I found somebody locally making them. I'll update with what I learn...

Like the design but would still prefer a good quality overlay.

That's the final product. I believe the actual pieces will be available from Kia over the next year or two. Beyond that, I don't expect anyone to make a higher quality product than what's pictured. If the 3D printed versions come out better, I'll be surprised. But, I'm always up for a surprise. Plus, the 3D printed versions won't have the oval shape - and that's a positive...

Yeah, I like that new edginess. I didn't actually have these made. I received one piece in each size and color to take pictures and assess the situation. :p If people like them, I'll get more. If not, I won't. Somebody obviously paid for a mold and a minimum quantity - but that wasn't me...

looks like they are doing away with the oval , I hope ! That is negative equity in my opinion , this is forward and modern and fresh
