If I update firmware from let’s say ver.11 directly you ver.16 will I get all data from versions inbetween? Or must each version be installed in sequence?

Each firmware is fully self contained. Only load the latest.

Hey Terry what’s the latest firmware version right now?

We document firmware changes in the main support thread on n54tech, and in the firmware notes in the app.

I rcv’d mine Friday of last week. Should I update. I’m not sure what version mine is on, but the car pulls like a freight train

Hi Terry,

I installed the JB4 unit with fuel wires, HKS plugs and loaded firmware 17.

Here are some logs driving around the city (stop n' go) - no highway action, too crowded yesterday.

How do things look? half the logs are on Map 1 the other half are on Map 2.
I would suggest you do some WOT pulls. Driving around logs don't cut it.

I believe I had a few pulls yesterday that were near or WOT. Probably not enough for any substantial data then. I'll take it out for a night drive sometime this week on the highway now that the holiday weekend is over.

Only WOT logs are useful, set the app to combine them in to one file too much easier. :)

Thanks Terry,

I have some WOT data but not nearly enough compared to the "noise" in each log.

Three questions for ya:

1) Whats the time interval for next to "combine logs"?
2) Should I enable auto-logging for WOT pulls? If so what timeout do you recommend. I read 70% on the threshold is decent for WOT logging is that correct?
3) How much "data" or total time of WOT pulls do you need to make a good review?

1 hour interval is fine, default auto-logging setting is fine.

Full throttle 40-90mph for example on a race private track is good enough to evaluate.

Auto-Logging disabled is the default setting? What if I wanted to auto-log at the WOT %?

Should be enabled by default. For JB4 mobile specific questions use the JB4 mobile support thread on n54tech. :)

Thank you! I did and found a thread with the answer to my question listed :--).
