Turn on wireless charging?

do you use wireless charging on that phone with another charger elsewhere? or someone elses wireless charging compatible phone you can try in the car?

I suppose if the OP doesn't want to update the firmware, the next step would be to do a factory reset on the headunit. Being this is android (fairly confident given the internal format and file arrangement of the update archive) driven, sometimes bugs are fixed by resetting to factory defaults. If this option is still lacking and car does have that QI led to the left of charging pad, then do the firmware update.

In my possession of phones I also happen to have a samdung s9+ (sm-965U). This device is wireless charging capable. Current charge at 62%.

Don't typically charge it wirelessly but tried it out in a different stinger I drove couple months ago and it worked. Also tried wife's and son's phone, which all supposedly are able to be wirelessly charged and none worked either.

My cluster (and Gt lines in general I believe) don't have settings in the center instrument cluster, just in the infotainment screen. If I am wrong about this someone please correct me.

Yeah those numbers are definitely different than mine (lower numbers maybe are older versions?) I don't have an "updated on" date either. Will try to update later today. Thanks.

^^What's the owner's manual say about doing factory resets?

So before doing any resets, as a last resort i checked the fuses. Both were fine so put them back in. Checked the screen, saw this. Surprise! Phone charges, indicator light comes on, all good. Thanks for all the help.

An odd issue for sure. Perhaps one of them wasn't making good contact.

What I figured. Although both those fuses serve other things in addition to the charger. Weird. Oh well, feel like I have my car back now.

Good for you.

Take solace that if you took it to the stealer, they break 3 other things.

I had the same problem on a 2019. The wireless charging option suddenly disappeared from the convenience menu but the wireless charging was ON and working. I just couldn't turn it off.
At the dealer, they tried a software update, didn't work. Then they did a factory reset (from the instrument cluster menu) and the option came back.
I think by taking out the fuse you basically did a factory reset.

Thank you so much for this. I bought a GT2 two months ago and was having the same issue. Removed the fuse and boom. Now it works.

I also have this problem, it worked for a few days, then all of the sudden it stopped and I don't have the option in the convenience settings.
