It's the roof trim not the rain visors. But thanks for the heads upSee below:

Pics or it didn't happen. It's so easy to remove the trim and spray paint it gloss black. cheap too! Blends right in with the rest of the car as well.

We will be adding this to the website shortly, but here are the first teaser pics available.

This is a combo of wrap on the front driver's door, and spray paint on the hatch trim. I could have glossed up the hatch trim a bit more with clearcoat, etc, but even with it slightly less shiny that the wrap on the door trim, it's just not eye catching in any way, just blends in as part of the door.Pics or it didn't happen.
I kid, I definitely would like to see how that looks. My car is Panthera metal, I'm sure the gloss black trim would look nice.
someone said yesterday, i think merlin, for us to resize our pictures and they will show upright. This is a combo of wrap on the front driver's door, and spray paint on the hatch trim. On the Passenger side, I painted all three pieces and again, looked fine even with a somewhat hasty job.
I've since added the window visors so currently I can't take any more pics of the trim on the doors.
If you sand lightly and take your time adding additional coats, maybe put some clear coat on, etc. it will be great. Very easy and cost effective way to stop dealing with the shi##y factory trim.

I would think if Kia needs to recall anything, they should start with the ignitions in the models that have keys. Do something to make them less easy to steal.someone said yesterday, i think merlin, for us to resize our pictures and they will show upright.
i like your red side mirror cap things... pretty cool.
man, as far as those trim pieces, thats just b.s. that they are discoloring. i bet they would have done that even without running thru car washes. it must be coated with something or the way its made in the factory, i dont know, maybe it needs to be recalled lol.
where does one acquire this metal polish you speaketh of?I was able to save my crappy looking trim. A bit of metal polish and it looks as good as new. View attachment 75073View attachment 75074
Excellent. Now, put a coat of wax or acrylic on there, because "metal polish" is for metal, and you've scrubbed off the clear coat for sure.I was able to save my crappy looking trim. A bit of metal polish and it looks as good as new. View attachment 75073View attachment 75074

I see that you, too, are from Utah: what are the chances, three of us from Utah posting over the top of each other? Hah. What part are you located in?
Are you using vinyl wrap or paint? Particularly the side scoops and front grill section. Thx!To solve it once and for all, paint it gloss black. Just need spray paint. Super easy. For the doors, get the window visors. Even easier and they look sleek. View attachment 68775View attachment 68776
As suggested by someone in forum; I used magic eraser and Maguire's wax clean; worked great, looks like new; took about one hour. Did not damage any area that I can tell and I am about 3 months out and still looks good. This is my 3rd Stinger and all had this problem.View attachment 31179 View attachment 31180 View attachment 31181 View attachment 31182 View attachment 31183 View attachment 31184
The trim down both sides has started to look like crap....there was slight discoloration in a couple spots when I purchased it about 6 weeks ago.....I pay for 6 months at a time for unlimited car washes at a car wash company that has multiple locations that does touch the car, after every car wash the trim hadn’t really changed much but could tell it was getting worse...then I went to a touch less car wash and after the wash my trim basically looked like this....I’ve read about some people compounding it and using other products on it but looks like I’m just gonna have the guy who does all the work on my car wrap it gloss black and be done with it!!!
