Did you also post on FB? Someone did recently about a Level 10 build for the Stinger, and there were a LOT of people warning that Level 10 has a long track record of "bulletproof" transmissions for Hyundai/Kia that either showed almost no work done, or crazy failure rates, etc.

Not to say this is true, but you might want to check around and look at a few reviews of Level 10 before blindly going for it. I looked at Level 10 once or twice for some other platforms (Subaru, Infiniti) and the reviews were very mixed.

Yes that was me and I have been driving mine around for a little while now and I am loving in. The day to day in comfort mode feels almost exactly the same still easy to drive not overly Jerky, but when you put it in sport or just mash the gas in general it night and day, and this is still on the stock TCM BTW. I took it to the track and done burn outs with it everything feels much more responsive and quicker.

That's anecdotal conjecture, until you actually show some evidence other than hearsay it's not really a worthy contribution to the discussion. Let's try to stay to the facts, these things work on science not belief/opinions/hunches.

You are correct and I'm sorry if you felt I was being misleading but all I am doing is offering my insight and experience over months of research and money spent, take from it what you will and formulate your own educated opinion.

Here is the website for level 10 it's still not listed but if you call them Pat is more then will to answer any and all questions so you feel sure about weather or not it's a good decision for you.

There is a lot that is still not public knowledge for these cars and I will say that I have seen just from searching through the forums during my research that the cable drives are failing more then the electronics so I am inclined to believe there are differences, maybe subtle, but nonetheless

How many GT + GT1s vs GT2s were sold? If it was an even split, there are 2x as many cable trans out there (GT + GT1 vs GT2). So logically, that would lead to seemingly 2x as many failures for cable drives if you just count reports. Plus, it seems like a lot of the hard-core guys went GT + RWD for the lowest weight?

Companies mix and match accessories / trim packages in weird ways all the time.

No, same 3.3tt Lambda 2. Also, the 2018's not having the wireless charger and 360 camera was JUST a USA thing, the equivalent trim everywhere else in the world had them.

I don't get your point - sure, they had different trim packages. But they are using the same engine for every 3.3TT trim combination. It doesn't make sense the transmission for the gt2 model would be different other than the shifter..

and like my original comment, it doesn't make any sense to leave out two features for the USA and let the rest of the world have them, but they did it, so who really knows.

Leaving an EXISTING feature(s) off is completely different than supposedly creating additional transmissions.

Think about it - what purpose would that serve?

To make the company more money later down the road. Just like evey other company is doing. Im not sure if the transmission thing is true or not, im just trying to make a comparison to something else illogical.

Sorry for the delay on an update been really busy at work. So had the transmission in for a couple weeks and I have to say so far I love it. I'll start off by addressing some of the concerns along of people had. The day to day drive ability has been great, its smooth and comfortable on daily driving. When you get aggressive with it, it give it right back, I noticed a more aggressive feel while spirited driving. Been taking it easy for the most part making sure I brake it in correctly. If all goes well should be taking it to the drag strip this week for next round of testing.

Transmission is running great and I'm sure a TCU tune would only make it better
