Transmission build

My build cost about 6500$ the base price for the build is around 5k
What shop did this if you don’t mind me asking would be interested in getting work done if they’re local

Yes I’ll be purchasing one off of eBay considering they’re not too expensive for my car about 1800 or more after taxes I’m going with hybrid turbos so I’d rather not have my transmission fail might upgrade the differential as well if I can find someone to do it
Awesome are you sending in a core?

Can I get a point of contact for the person that’s building these transmissions Id like to get part numbers for the transmission… unless these are in house parts

This is the message I got from Pat earlier this morning
Your transmission is built for 700hp. There is a year warranty. Each transmission is built to order, depending on what each customer is looking for. Your build has a super pump, high pressure valve body, torque converter upgrade and planetary upgrade. As well as upgraded parts.
Does he have a website I can browse

Talk to them first they were able to supply a new core for less then I could purchase, plus it saved on shipping and leed time

Yes sir thought it was better till I started seeing the cost to replace was more then the electronic

Wait the transmission is pretty much the same except that there is no cable to shift. Same tq converter, same gear set, etc. Why would one have more issues than the other?

From what I have been told they are different internally.

I can't find any reference to multiple transmission variants for the 3.3TT, they're all supposed to be A8TR1:

The 3.3TT transmission

It sounds like the transmission shop was citing anecdotal evidence or just outright wrong info. I can't find a single bit of evidence there's different transmission variants. One model for the 4 cylinder [A8LR1], a different beefier one for the 6 cylinder [A8TR1].

Did you also post on FB? Someone did recently about a Level 10 build for the Stinger, and there were a LOT of people warning that Level 10 has a long track record of "bulletproof" transmissions for Hyundai/Kia that either showed almost no work done, or crazy failure rates, etc.

Not to say this is true, but you might want to check around and look at a few reviews of Level 10 before blindly going for it. I looked at Level 10 once or twice for some other platforms (Subaru, Infiniti) and the reviews were very mixed.

If he’s willing to ship I’m more than willing to do business with the shop I’m still interested in which shop is able to do

There is a lot that is still not public knowledge for these cars and I will say that I have seen just from searching through the forums during my research that the cable drives are failing more then the electronics so I am inclined to believe there are differences, maybe subtle, but nonetheless

That's anecdotal conjecture, until you actually show some evidence other than hearsay it's not really a worthy contribution to the discussion. Let's try to stay to the facts, these things work on science not belief/opinions/hunches.
