Totally dissapointed in the EV6, what chance do we have for a EV Stinger?

Malarkey! It won't be too much until the numbers hit the negatives! Let me know when cars do 0-60 in negative 3 seconds. Then we'll talk.
That post was a response to the previous forum member writing how they can use most of the Stinger's power and that the new M3 or even the current M550 is a bit overkill for public roads.

That picture would be me and Angel before he got banned. I don't what her problem is. Too much weed, maybe...
things are a tad dry over at the AudiForums ? The 5 series Forum used to be really lively when I had an E60 ??

Dude, when I had the M550 I barely posted there. They have 3 or 4 active BMW forums and all of them are dead as soon as you leave the 3 series areas.

The Audi forums are a little better but it's mostly A4/S4 and A6/S6 posts. The S5 area is better than the BMW forums but this place beats em all. (I did see Tonkabob over there a few times)

I can live with electric and environmentalism if it comes in a flavor like this, albeit less the Tesla badge. I've heard too many sketchy things about post-sales and warranty with that company, not to mention inconsistent/poor overall build quality. Maybe if it was Toyota....*cough 2024 MR2*

My son just got an RS5 Coupe and I'm trying to get him going on the Forums over there but so far he's not interested , just lurks I think . I'm trying to stir things up in the Q8 Forums its getting better some guys just need to know thats its OK let have a laugh , here is better !

I said they addressed the deal breakers. Reading comprehension fail?

Note:
I'm disappointed the refresh didn't bring a hybrid version of the Stinger, but the refresh did address the dealbreakers, particularly the lack of UVO Link.

The lack of UVO Link is a huge dealbreaker, considering that every one of Kia's named competitors to the Stinger offered the functionality all along.

Now for a new car upgrade for me, the holdup is the market tanked, and I am waiting for my portfolio to rebound, or worst case, for more of my stock grants to vest over the next 10 months.

Weak attempt at flaming; I'll rate your attack a 1/5.
get some good advice on diversifying some $$ into Crypto and also physical precious metals

I think the second generation Tesla Roadster looks incredible. I would love to have one as a weekend/special car. Have my Stinger as a daily and have probably a M2 with stick as a fun track toy. The best balance. :p

My lease lapses March 2024 and there are rumored to be some interesting cars maybe releasing around that time. I'm very leery about first model years having owned a few now, but if something really special comes out by then, my "getting back into cheaper used vehicles plan" may not come to fruition, lol. The wife is probably getting another SUV, we don't have kids, so maybe it's time for a 2 seater...

With EV platforms, interior space can be larger, a bit of a pet peeve of mine with the Stinger. The EV6 looks better to me than the IONIQ 5, with a GT version in the mix, I’m sure it’s the basis of what any future sporty GT car KIA comes out with. They have to sell more of what the public want, to recoup their costs. The Stinger is a small part of their overall sales. While us enthusiasts want a sporty car, they don’t sell in high volumes for that or be developed and sold first. Could they do a plug-in hybrid model, sure but why bother when the car isn’t selling at a much higher rate to justify it. Designing a GT body to fit the E-GMP platform makes more sense at this stage however, that will come later once the other EVs based on that platform are on the market and profitable.

Driving the Audi e-tron for a month now, I can say I miss the extra punch of the Stinger for those moments when you want fast acceleration. The e-torn is pretty quick as is with a more powerful version coming. There are a number of things KIA did with the EV6 that will appeal to people looking to get into EVs. The Germans are keeping to the standard look we are used to, which will make the transition easier. The EV6 is a different looking vehicle but the packaging works. An EV Stinger with more interior room would be nice on an electric platform. I think for sure we will have a bit of wait for it.
