Those foam filters aren't doing them any favors...
I'm surprised by the effort being put into these. The Stinger isn't what you would call a traditional drag race car. It's big, it's heavy. The lotus elan chassis wasn't really designed for drag racing. That said if you are serious about drag racing the stinger, anything less than a standalone EMS, big turbo upgrade and nitrous to spool it is just amateur hour, and that's at a minimum and still won't get you sub 10. I just don't understand the endgame with this car, it's not a great drag racing platform nor is it a super great track monster either. It's a grand touring car. If you want a great platform for drag racing there are an infinite number of cars less than 5k that are readily available and modable. Get a lightweight chassis for sub 5k, and an engine for another few grand. Once you get your standalone ems running right you'll be running sub 10's for under 10k. Nobody buys a 30k+ grand touring car to drag race it. It's like wearing a clown costume to a wedding, it just doesn't belong there.
