Top speed limiter: how to tell which Stingers have it?

I was able to get my 2020 GT up to 176(maybe only 173) in New Mexico. Purchased in Texas though. So I don't think mine did.

I have a 2020 GT2 RWD. I can assure you it is speed limited but not at 149 mph. Don't ask me how I know but the sounds of love bugs smashing off my windshield ( 160something ) was distracting so I backed off of the go pedal. Dang I hate those friggin things.

Mine is quite capable of more than the press have reported, but at that speed, you eat up asphalt at an astonishing rate and the risk of detection goes up quickly!

I got to 120 dusting a Subie .....#YINYANG was GLIDING! Car felt amazingly calm at that speed.......no struggle at all.....but seriously doubt I'll get into that stratosphere again.....

I'll live vicariously through my friends ....

That's a first. The highest stock speed in a 3.3L that I've heard of prior to this is @Salman on the highway out of Riyadh, where, he said, he hit c. 170 MPH. I think that maybe your speed limiter is "broken". Welcome to the forum, by the way.

Castrol Raceway, just the drag strip. I think I only ever did 4 runs with the Stinger, I was disappointed to not see 12s so I quit lol.

Without getting too technical, I'll assume those times were recorded near sea level. We are at 2200FT at our track, I think the day I ran was 4500ft relative density. My best run was 13.19s @ 107.5MPH, with a JB4 Map 2 and modified intakes. I was certain with an "extra 100ft/lbs" from the tune, I should have been in the 12's. Seems pretty much every else on this forum is pushing 12's on Map 2. I was not impressed.

Nah...............160 mph+ in my Stinger 2 is not nuts

125 mph in my modded Miata.................Now that's nuts !

He bought his car with A/S tires. Yours and his situation ain't the same.
