Today's project upper rear adjustable camber arms install

Nice!

Let us know how the alignment goes - before and after specs.

Well I have been at the Alligment shop for 2 1/2 hours you need to replace upper and lower control arms to do this correctly or if will offset toe in the rear. I only did one so there trying to find a balance on this . well I ended up with one and a quarter degree negative camber same thing I started with got to get the lower bar so I can adjust toe also hard lesson learned

Firstly, thank you for the report despite not being the best of news for you.

Can you elaborate on the new parts needed/installed in order to get the alignment set correctly? And are those parts available?

If those parts are available and corrects the geometry after lowering, it would be money well spent, and the route I would go.

I've read many Stinger threads on lowering and alignments, and this is the first time I've heard this, so thanks again for letting us know.

Yeah.... a multilink suspension is kind of complicated. Might need the full set of adjustable arms. Looks like Megan Racing makes at least 3 for the rear. What's even worse is you might get a good static alignment, but now have a terrible arc. And you won't know unless you model the new suspension setup and/or do some comparisons at the track. Or find the car acts in a new and exciting way.

srv: most folks just don't worry all that much about alignment with lowering the car. "close enough", you know? The huge camber look is, apparently, desirable.

Thanks for the link for the rear toe arms - are you going to get them and realign?

With the camber arms, were you able to set the camber to stock specs? BTW, what are the stock specs?

And since you haven't mentioned it, I take it that there are no alignment issues with the front after lowering?

If you lower the car you will be between -1 and -2 degrees negative camber front and rear. It's worth it though for the look and handling. I'm -2 in the rear and -1.1 degrees in the front with toe spot on for both front and rear. Just keep the car aligned as close to oem spec as you can get, and it will not trash the tires too quick.

Yes negative camber front and rear car is alignmented properly drives amazing definitely happy with it lowered. Is a little harder to get out off. and have to be super careful not to pull to far forward parking and take out the spoiler

Would adding the rear adjustable toe arms been a remedy for this? I'm in the same situation and just ordered both after lowering mine
