Well, I stand corrected the PS 4S is not directional, however it does have an asymmetric design

Meaning that it can be rotated L to R but making sure the Outside of the tires (there are markings on the tire wall to indicate) is facing the correct side of the wheel.

Any idea on the Pilot Sport 4 (as opposed to the 4S)? My recollection is that the GT2AWDs all came with the Sport 4 and the RWD with the 4S.

The 19s can be rotated .They are not symmetrical but at the same time are not directional. Tire just has "outside" stamped on it . If you look at the passenger side the slits angle toward the rear and on the drivers side the slits angle towards the front. Rotating wont change this.

My Mustang has Nitto Invos and they can also be rotated left to right. A lot of UHP summer tires are rotatable L to R

How is tire wear out there? I have 3500 miles on car. Center band on all tires is bald already. Checked air pressure all good. 34 to 36 range in pressures. Any feed back would be appreciated.i can understand back tires being like that from putting power down. Tire is very soft. But fronts also doing same thing.

I do not have an answer for you, but took my Stinger in to see if I needed a front end alignment as I was getting some vibration while driving and some irritating noise inside. I was told that alignment was fine but that I had tire chopping on all 4 tires. I do not drive my car hard so I was surprised to hear that. I know have 30,000 mile on my vehicle. Tires still have plenty of tread. Very discouraging.

I will respond anyway, this time: your post makes little sense, because you say that you've got plenty of tread left at 30K miles, but are "very discouraged"!? I've never heard of any staggered Michelin summer tires getting anywhere near 30K miles. So, I doubt seriously that you have "plenty of tread" still. These tires get noisier as they get more worn down. Chopping will occur on a heavily worn tire, regardless of driving style. (So I've been told by "my" tire guys.) You may think that you have "plenty of tread", but I'm not believing it. So, you're discouraged by the "noise inside". Time to get new tires.

Agreed 30k miles out of a Pilot Sport 4 is incredible, unless he is a base model owner and maybe has a different tire. Here in Canada the Pilot Sport 4 only has a 30,000km (18,500 miles) warranty. I'm not an aggressive driver but will be happy if I get the 30k kms out of them.

I am a very aggressive driver with 15000 miles on car. Just put third set of rear tires on and second set of fronts on car. I’ve had car for over to years. You want the grip that’s the price we pay.

That's where the warranty comes in handy. I only pay about 1/3 of the full cost to replace tires on my daughters Challenger.

I’ve got the GT RWD and managed to get about 20,000km out of the Michelin’s, considering I have it chipped and cold air intakes and an aggressive driving style, I guess I can’t complain.

I have a 2019 GT RWD that is my daily drive and the PS4s lasted 25,000 miles. Switched to Michelin A/S 3+ and didn’t see much performance difference(Actually better in rain IMHO) and have 22,000 miles on them.The front are at 8/32 and the rear is 5/32. These seem to be the best bang for the buck out there. Great all around tire and about $250-$300 cheaper for a set than the PS4’s. Agree with the forum that you can’t expect great wear with the power/torque this car produces. I do run at 40-42 lbs and that seems to even the wear more evenly than the recommended 34 psi as an FYI.

16000 miles on 3 year rwd . On 3rd set . Had stock 4 then 4s then back to 4 . 4 s have best performance. Tryed a harder set in between spun like crazy took them off after couple hundred miles put in shed.

Wow, I was told I almost due for new back tires, and because my car came with Continentals, and the dealer only has Michelin PS4S, I have to replace them all (though that is what I wanted to). Problem is my fronts still have plenty of tread, and so it's a bit of a waste. I'm at 24000km, so I guess mine lasted decently. But I have to say, they probably would have lasted a good 10000km more had I not tried a couple launch controls (mine is RWD). I told the dealer I'd come back soon to get the tires replaced. I want to kind of "have some fun" with them before I change them.

I put new rears on every 5 thousand or so miles because traction is so good up to that 5000 mark. Fronts I change at about 12000 miles. But I’m weird like that I love full traction at all times . Very heavy right foot
