I was just telling my wife today how happy I was with the climate control system. I have set the temp, and I rarely even have to touch anything. Compared to our Fords, this works great!

It only goes onto recirculate if you turn temp down low enough otherwise will be on fresh...

It could do a better job of filtering out the smells from the outside air. Apart from that it's great.

I meant that the system is predisposed to engage fresh air. Even when i set the temp to LO it does not switch to recirculation
Carbon filters capture odour.
I believe the G70 comes stock with one. However the Stinger comes with standard paper media.

Understood. The manual talks a lot about fresh air and passenger comfort. All evidence would suggest Kia values fresh air by default.
