OK, thank you for checking. I have been thinking about upgrading the intercooler next on my list. You can see in those logs that the higher boost starts to overwhelm it and the IAT actually starts to climb again.

... Sure wish there were some more options out there in the Stinger market.

Hey guys.... ran an 11.995 last night at the track. Took me a run to get used to the BMS Switch (first run went into limp mode, not sure what I did wrong). Second run is when I got that time. Ran a 12.254 without the switch, so the switch is doing some work! Not sure how much lower my times are going to get until I put on some better tires (currently have all seasons).

Ran e30, BMS Switch plus all the mods in my signature line.

@GRich should recieve a 0.5 sec penalty because his car was dirty as heck :p

My best run last Friday was a 12.209 using JB4 Map 3, BMS Brake hack, E30 mix, and the mods in my signature.

I did a run in map 5 but in one of the higher gears it felt like I may have hit too much boost and boost dropped off. Unfortunately I thought the JB4 was logging on that run but it wasn't.

I don't have the car anymore but I did make a bunch of runs in July in 30 degree heat about 85 F. I used straight methanol and with a JB4 on map8 WMI kit and K&N typhoon intake and my version of a brake switch modification with no other mods I ran a 12.000 at 116.4 mph. I was amazed at the difference between 50/50 mixture and pure methanol. My previous best was 11.94 with no interior, no mufflers.

Lol. Nobody has really hit 500whp yet on stock turbos. That was from one of those BS dynocom’s and they run ~30whp higher than comparable dynojets. Probably closer to 470whp especially if he’s still only running close to a 12.1.

It’s a shame some people are spending another $1200 to upgrade to the V2 but even with cooler weather it’s still slower than a similar modded JB4 Stinger only using map3.:confused:

They haven't been released yet, but I'm very interested to see what the car will do with LAP3's turbo upgrades and ECU tune... supposedly 620WHP. Hopefully some brave soul will buy it and do some runs. I want to see track slips!

Lap3 offered the turbo upgrade to me. :) I'll pass for now.
Someone in Korea reportedly ran 11.4 but I don't think the slip has been seen yet. But since we are already hitting 11.5 on stock turbos I want more!

Exactly! If the car isn't getting into the 10's I'm not sure it's worth it.... well, depending on price point. But I'm sure it will be no less than $5-6K, which I wouldn't spend for 11.4

FYI-#14 and multiple people I know are already running the lap3V2. Don’t hold your breath because they have been working on the full ECU tune for almost a year and still haven’t released it in the USA.:rolleyes:

Totally agree and only 0.1sec quicker than a JB4 Stinger with a couple bolt-ons is definitely not worth it. And pretty sure they were looking for about $15k for the big turbo kit which is ridiculous for that little of a performance gain.:confused:

As others have said - figure $15K for that upgrade. And THEN a transmission rebuild.. No way the transmission holds 620+ WHP if you plan to run at the track a lot. And if you're going to dump $20+K into this car, you should have probably bought an M3 anyway..

But we are already quicker than an M3 with just a JB4 and couple bolt-ons for only about $1k.:thumbup: Why pay another $14k just to lose daily drivability and be 0.1-0.3secs quicker in the 1/4m.:rolleyes:

What does an M3 + jb4 + E85 do? I saw a dyno of Payam's M4 (older gen?) with just some pipes + intake + jb4 + free flash + E85 doing 580 whp, 630 wtq and he said could easily do 700 tq... Maybe $2k into an M3/M4 to be faster than a Stinger?
