It sounds cool, looks like it will haul with the weight and the powertrain and will probably handle really well too. It will be eye catching when you see one on the road, but in my opinion it's on the ugly side of the spectrum. Looks like they took every design idea they thought of and crammed all of them into the design. But what do I know, I feel the same way about the current Lexus IS design, I think that's also disgusting looking.

saw another stat I had missed that makes me hate this car even more. It's wheelbase is only 97", an MX-5 has a wheelbase of 89". Now here's a swift kick in the you know what, the FT86 has a wheelbase of 101" and a Mustang GT has a wheelbase of 107".

This is a sports car... I'm really curious as to why you seem to dislike a shorter wheelbase for it. The looks are something that can probably grow on me and honestly the more I'm looking at this, including its size, the more I'm thinking if It had come out earlier there's a good chance I wouldnt be on this forum now.

If you feel that way I’m surprised you ended up with a Stinger at all. The Stinger and Supra are polar opposites, sure they both have sporty intentions but that’s where the similarities end. Supra would offer zero practicality if you need to transport more than 2 people and also very little cargo space. The Stingers objective was to easily haul lots of cargo and room for four.

You're not wrong. 4 doors and space isn't a requirement for me. This is the only one aside from maybe a Gulia I even considered. But around 40-45k there isn't much that I like that has two doors especially if I wanted new. If this was here this time last year or if Fiat seemed a bit more stable in North America I probably wouldn't be in a Stinger, at least not a new one.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

I don't have an issue with shorter wheelbase cars, I used to own an MR2 and it was a blast to drive, I'm just using it as a comparison to other cars. The wheelbase measurement is going to tell you a lot more about how the car feels compared to actual length. The Supra was never a smaller car than the 86, the fact it is now is absurd to me and just cements the fact that it isn't the spiritual successor to the Supra at all.

Its definitely lighter less powerful drivers car than most expected. I think all were expecting GTR killer. What we got was sporty spice sports car. It looks great but supra fan bois are not going to be happy.
