The Hibernation Begins

Hard wired a Schumacher maintainer charger for the winter month's......I refuse to driver my stinger on salt encrusted roads....so she sits the winter under a cover and now with a battery maintainer...I went right to the battery, loosened the pos an neg terminal bolts and fastened in the maintainer connection.......unit sits off the ground under the car.....we'll see if it lasts.But I do not need a dead battery yet.

Garage queen here. I'll just fire it up occasionally, though I do have a trickle charger...and a Schumacher load tester!! OK, since it hasn't snowed in a week or so and the roads are dry, I admit I took it on a beer run...shhhh. Some salty dust but the touchless high pressure joint took care of that.

Only envious of all year driving your best car. I still love the change of seasons as well as the hills and twists up here. Couldn't do full year heat and flat!
Gives us things to look forward to!

it's the salt or whatever they use these days , I see it first hand....We have trucks with 1/2 inch solid steel...whither away in just a few years.......nope not for the 2nd biggest purchase I'll make in a lifetime....she sits till nothing can hurt her but me...

Lots of salt up here too. But I clean out the bottom every time it gets soaked from salty grime; I do not wait.
