I’ve upgraded my down and mid pipes, and intercooler with 3” cold side pipe. I also sent my ECU into Tork for a stage 1 bench flash/tune. This week I’d like to order the AWD KIT from eibach with lowering springs, front and rear sway bars, as well as the ATQ subframe chassis collar kit. I love driving up in the mountains with 15-25 mph curves. My question is, will the setup I specified above give me the handling to attack the corners or do I need to look elsewhere?

Thanks,
Chad

Fuel_It has a test kit to know for sure that your E85 is that and not lower (If costs about $15 I think). Ethanol is a lot more inconsistent than the regular gas. I’m not in California but where I’m at in Ohio has pretty consistent Ethanol fuel.

Right - I know in some cases E85 can be as low as E50. This pump claims at least E71, which I figure it close enough to not worry about it too much.

I did JB4 with E85 Fuel-It and re gapped Denso plugs, big mouth snorkels, CAI, pedal commander, and Borla catback initially. This round I did Jun BL secondary downpipes, Borla tips, Eibach Pro-Plus, BMS zero maintenance OCC. I wouldn’t mind doing am upgraded intercooler and maybe WMI. But undecided on those. Mods are addicting. Lol

I installed the big mouth snorkel's this morning, started at 8:00 and was done by 10:00. Good thing because I had to get to a drone shoot by 10:30. I really like the looks and the fact that we could remove all the garbage piece of plastic from the front and the worthless front vents. I'm liking this set up much better than the Stillen cold air intake which I've taken on and off my car 3 times now. I just can't stand how much sucking noise they made. Also stopped by the dealership to have my headlights re-calibrated as well as get my car realigned. They couldn't fit me in today but It'll be done first thing Wednesday morning. I think the total is going to be $250.00. But I'm going to see if I can meet the tech to see who works on Stingers on the side while I'm there. I will be running down to Kartunerz in Murrieta,CA at the end of the month to throw my car on their dyne and get it dialed in.

Make sure to drop some pics of the car with the new springs setup. I bet with the wrapped orange it looks tight. How are you liking it so far with the sway/spring setup. Any issues?

I'll try to take some tomorrow, but we're having wind gusts of 65-85mph this afternoon, so my car isn't leaving the garage until that stops. Supposed to end tomorrow.

Nice! That’s great! I think I only have a week more and I should get mine. I installed the snorkels myself. You should have no problem.
I think I forgot to tell you the other week I went up to see my wrap guy because the wrap around the hood vests started to wrinkle and I have a 1 year warranty on his work. while I was there he put his rubber flashlight on my windshield and brought the hood down. I saw that the flashlight stopped the hood from coming down, but as I was getting ready to leave I noticed that corner of my windshield now had multiple cracks in it. I was like f*ck dude you broke my windshield when you tried bring my hood down earlier. Luckily he's a good guy and is going to replace it, but now I have to re-tint my windshield. I could make him pay for it, but the fact that he's stepping up and covering the damage I don't care if I have to pay for that.

Some of us are excited by noise and are willing to pay for it.

Killed me having stock exhaust on the Mustang as long as I did. Who doesn't like the sound of barfing in a metal trash can?

Also, I'm getting the bug on the M240i since it is an inline 6, but very on the fence being a lease. That said, it's auto which is negative cool points, and also while the B58 in the BMW sounds OK, it's no 2JZ or RB26 when it comes to sound. Much more pleasing than the Stinger was, to my ears anyway. From all my cars, I miss the Probe GT (2.5 V6) and the Supra (7MGTE) the most for their exhaust note.
I love the sound of my stock exhaust with the UP down and mid pipes, I don't think I'd buy a cat back system just because I love the sound of my car already. I had the new Lexus LC 500 pull up next to me and the driver was like man I really like the sound of your car...He also said I still think mine sounds better. lol. I said thanks and as we left the light I made sure he heard the blow off valves. lol

Yeah. I love those snorkels. That plastic OEM stuff is garbage. I was amazed of how inefficient and restrictive the air flow was up front and that someone actually designed it that way. I’ve got the snorkels and the Stillen CAI on mine. I wondered about the headlights. So I thought the car would auto recalibrate with the spring adjustment. I guess I will need to take care of that when the springs get put in. Man, must be nice being close to Kartunerz. Can’t wait to see the Dyno.

I’m finally getting my Secondaries and tips on today. After I have had them on for a month or so I may go to the primaries with a HFC but will see how it all sounds. Nice compliment from the Lexus

That is crazy on the windshield. I’m glad you caught that early. In Ohio in January/February, cracks like those would come to light real quick. Lol. It’s good your tech is trying to make things right.

Photos from today.

I watched a ton of exhaust videos on the Stinger and while admittedly recorded videos never do the actual car justice, the only one I really liked was Tork's when then had it pretty much straight piped. He did a nice redline riding in their back lot lol.

I finally found a video of a M240i exhaust I really like the sound of, Akrapovic, I think the titanium exhaust. It's stupidly expensive (over $2500 USD for a catback) so that isn't happening lol. I did pay 1500 extra for my M Performance exhaust on my car so I should just leave it alone LOL.

Question, is there a way to switch to e-85 without the JB4 and fuel-it app? Obviously, there’s no need to replace the fuel pump but would probably need the ECU tuned for it?

Finally got my Springs and Sways in. Took a minute but they are in now..

That looks really good, Love the Borla exhaust tips!!! I was in Murrieta a couple weeks ago and stopped into KharTurners and met all the guys. Had them install my ATQ Subframe Bolts while I was there. Great group of guys, I hope to have them do some dyno tuning in the future.

I got to get those bolts. Do you like em? Can you tell a difference? I saw the video on them and it makes sense of why to get em. I’m going on some longer trips in the summer and definitely want to get that squared away before then.

I did have them installed after the lowering springs and sway bars were installed, and I'l glad I did, my car did feel tighter after installing them.

You were right about the subframe bolts. Finally got those installed today. I can tell a difference from driving around with just lowering springs and sways. Less bounce. I like em.
