I’ve upgraded my down and mid pipes, and intercooler with 3” cold side pipe. I also sent my ECU into Tork for a stage 1 bench flash/tune. This week I’d like to order the AWD KIT from eibach with lowering springs, front and rear sway bars, as well as the ATQ subframe chassis collar kit. I love driving up in the mountains with 15-25 mph curves. My question is, will the setup I specified above give me the handling to attack the corners or do I need to look elsewhere?

Thanks,
Chad

Tyro, here. But when I added the front Eibach sway bar (after a year and a half of only the rear one), it changed everything for me. I "attack" corners now with greater confidence, bordering on rashness (not quite, I insist). The steering, which before tended to oversteer (which I got used to anticipating to a large degree), is now consistent throughout. Oversteer only manifests if I push the corner to the point of making the tires squeal (only happened enough once to get some oversteer back; and the other couple of times I held off at the point where the tire noise began, and so, no oversteer on those occasions). I have read most of what has been shared here about lowering springs. And I don't get the impression that lowering the car has nearly the same effect on handling (flattening the body roll and eliminating the rear end twitchiness) that anti sway bars do.

Good luck getting the Pro Plus Eibach package. I talked to them today and they are on back order until May. I called a few other places and they are out, even K8 sold their last one on 2/22. I ended up ordering through Tire Rack who has a deal (when they come in) for $578 with free shipping on this package that normally costs $680 everywhere else.

Figures when I’m ready to pull the trigger on them they’d be on back order. I’ll check out Tire Rack though. Thanks for the info!

I do feel like the car is a little top heavy. I guess I could install the sway bars first and see if that makes a difference. it looks like I might be waiting a little longer anyways now that I see these are on back order everywhere.

So I went to tire rack and ordered the Eibach front and rear sway bars and Eibach lowering springs (separately). I didn’t see the pro kit on their website. But it came out to $662. I think the AWD version is a little more expensive.

Still cheaper than $680. The good news is you will get the Sway bars right away. The back order was based on front springs I believe.

I decided to cancel my separate orders and go with the kit like you did. Mainly because I’ll save $100 and can use that towards the ATQ subframe chassis collar kit. Since those are also on back order and I prefer to do add all these things at one time so the urgency took a back seat. Thank you for sending that link and saving me $100!!! I really appreciate it!!!

So next question, has anyone found sleeker better looking aftermarket door handles for the Stinger? Suicide doors would be pretty bad ass too since it’s a 4 door.

That would be wicked. Maybe in future designs. I’ve seen Carbon Fiber handles. But that’s about it.

I did a bunch of stuff to the Stinger early on then I took a break and now I’m doing a bunch more now. Trying to get ready for the fun months.

Semi off-topic, is that the factory orange color or did you get it wrapped? The picture you posted looks more like the Sunset Orange Metallic on my BMW than the neon orange I'm used to seeing on the GTS. It could just be the picture.

**edit** I guess your title is GT2 so assuming that is not a factory color.

Being in Ohio, I can see why you opted for the AWD. LOL. I’m from Illinois, moved to Cali from Chicago. After the suspension changes I think I’m done with mods for awhile. Unless something really cool performance wise comes out. I need to buy another ECU with factory settings to pass emissions but I have a little while before that time comes around.

I did JB4 with E85 Fuel-It and re gapped Denso plugs, big mouth snorkels, CAI, pedal commander, and Borla catback initially. This round I did Jun BL secondary downpipes, Borla tips, Eibach Pro-Plus, BMS zero maintenance OCC. I wouldn’t mind doing am upgraded intercooler and maybe WMI. But undecided on those. Mods are addicting. Lol

Sorry, didn’t see your post until just now. That is wrapped. I didn’t like the factory orange color.

Question, is there a way to switch to e-85 without the JB4 and fuel-it app? Obviously, there’s no need to replace the fuel pump but would probably need the ECU tuned for it?

You want to calculate based on E30 which is the generally accepted safe level for the Stingers. Higher amounts of Ethanol can mess up the engine (anything above E40). To get the benefits of the change in fuel the JB4 adjusts to the mixture properly. You can change the fuel composition by doing a few gallons of the e85 and the rest 93 but it will be hard to keep track of what is the exact mixture in your tank. If you refill at half tank you will need to account for this (your current mixture vs what you need to put in I order to keep it around e30 total). In addition, the engine won’t be efficient to the new fuel mixture without the tune. Fuel-It in coordination with JB4 makes it easy. I have the JB4 plugged in to the OBDII to get the proper efficiency in tune. I hope this helps.
