Subs in the 9 speaker system same as the ones in the 15 speaker system?

Does anyone know if the subs in the 9 speaker system (base GT model) are the same as the ones in the HK 15 speaker system? I can't find any information about the speakers used in the 9 speaker system.

That is not my understanding. I was told the 9 speakers are 4x6” in the doors + 2 tweeters in the front doors + 1 center and then 2 x 8 inch subs.

Subs are there it just takes volume 30+ to feel anything.

not convinced about that there is no mention anywhere of subs on the base system and if your running it at 30 plus all your feeling is the front amd rear door speakers, have you taken out the seat and taken off the grates to see?

The website is unclear. The user on this post Oxide365 indicated this. The website says the front door speakers are 3 ways however you can see from the pictures that this is false. If the front doors only have 2 speakers then where are the other 2? Subs makes the most sense and oxide365 actually has the car

so do I, you can rack up the volume on the base model and slap your hand on that grate and feel nothing apart from the front and rear door speakers vibe

You dont have to believe me. The subs are there and they work. I am debating not adding my 12 inch sub as the floor ones are fine.

Then you don't have the base factory unit in the GT with the so called 9 speaker's I just took it to the top Car Audio shop in Indianapolis and he tested it in the shop and all thats under the seat in the base unit GT is grates and wholes!!! no subs present

Easiest way to tell the difference between GT and GT1/GT2 would be the 3.5" instrument cluster vs. 7", right? If someone is selling base GT's with the upgraded sound systems that would be... odd?

Edit: Sorry, easiest way to tell would be if it has a sunroof His doesn't so I'm assuming it's a base GT.

mine is a base and the conversation was about the base 9 speaker system having subs, and it does not or the factory forgot to put mine in lol

however there is no mid door speaker only low and under seat.
