Not an owner (yet) but I've been running the stinger through photoshop to change some of the styling cues and test a few looks out.

I'm not a fan of the stock rims, so I wanted to see what could be done to change the design without shelling out for a whole new set.

I think some of these look pretty slick compared to the stock design, but let me know if you have any other ideas. You can also try your own by layering the "stock" image over the "all black" image and erase the top layer.

My dealer currently has this colour Stinger with all black rims, looks pretty good.

I'm diggin the all black

Style 9 and all black would be my pick. I'm not a big fan of stock.

I'm a fan of the Stock, but I really like Style 7, 11 and 12. They look cool !!

These look good from this distance but may look worse close up. Especially the ones where you are trying to black out one side of the split spokes.

I say original or all black.

Interesting to hear some of your preferences!

Just quick mockups, using absolute black on a photograph. It WILL look different depending on what kind of paint/other covering you use.

If someone decides apply one of these, try it on a single spoke first, make sure it goes looks and dries good before committing to the whole rim/set .

Interesting mods. But the blackout is the most striking. Funny how that works. Curb rash would ruin everything.

Not a fan of black rims. Draws to much attention and often doesn't support the rest of the car. I personally like the stock 19" rims.

I like number 5 and 6, with 7 a secondary choice. Sort of remind me of the wheels they get in Australia. Wish that was an option on the cars here instead of an extra cost accessory at $400+ a piece

Is it possible to get the stock rims refinished in all black? I am getting a ceramic silver car here shortly and think they would look great with that paint and the red calipers. No experience in modifying rims. Not sure how it is done or cost.

Find a place that will powder coat. A shop here will charge 450 for the set of 4. Not sure how good or bad of a deal that is.

I'd find a wheel repair shop with a high rep, and find out what their warranty against the finish wearing is. Then you have a benchmark to shop around with. I'm guessing this is another case of getting what you pay for. A much less expensive finisher will look just as good starting out, but a winter will mark the difference.

I agree that ceramic silver with matte black rims would look fantastic. Gloss black too, but if I were to entertain this project, matte or satin black would be my choice.

I have ceramic grey and I’m getting mine painted gloss black and doing ark springs, can’t wait!

Hi Adamdan, can you please post pictures when the black rims are installed? I would love to see them.

Looks great! If you don't mind sharing, what coating did you use and how much did it cost. thanks
