I did a search, including google and most people are adding after market rims and tires.

All I want to know and see (please) is just how unleveled running a 275/30r19 will look being it’s shorter, or 285 or 295, ON STOCK RIMS.

I’m not looking to drop 1500-2000 on rims, haha.

What are the stock wheel widths? I doubt a 285 will fit them.

9” (EDIT: Actually only 8.5”) I’m pretty sure 275 is the max. But I just want to see how unleveled it will make the car look. I just need the 2 rears not all 4. If I did all 4 I’d go 235/35 and 275/30... which would keep it close.

I would prefer tail high over nose high... but I don’t want to see a lot of wheel gap either.

So the more I look, it appears that we “might” only be realistically able to fit a 265 on the stock rim. 275’s might go on, but would probably cause heating in the sidewalk from being bulged so much.

They have a minimum 9” wide recommendation which is probably due to that side wall flex. According to what I’ve found the rear width of our stock 19s is - - - 8.5”!

So to gain more rear tire, looks like after market rims are a must, so I might get wider rear tires in like 2 years :poop:!

Thought about going wider as well on the stock rims but it would be better to get some 9/9.5" (F/R) aftermarket rims to fit better. The K900 got a wider setup I feel would suit the Stinger well but with 245/40 fronts and 275/35 rear. Then again, I might switch to a squared setup. using a set of rears for the fronts.

I'd love to see the 275's on stock rims in back. Everything I read keeps saying that they need a minimum 9 inch wheel. Back in the day it was COMMON to put a 265 on a 7 inch rim. That was for autocross and drag racing mind you. Never had any problems. I cannot see how 1/2 an inch narrower rim and 20mm wider tire can make that much of difference. I'd worry more about inboard tire clearance than heat build up. I personally think the little extra bulge of sidewall looks good. I never like how the rim appears to protrude from the tire bead.

I’m assuming the 275 would clear fine.

I’m in a similar frame of mind, love the OE rims & don’t really want to change them at this point. Doing my research I believe that I can only go from 225 to 235 & 255 to 265 on the stock rims.
Anyone feel free to chime in if I can legally & safely go wider, I would ultimately love to go 245 & 275 on stock rims but I believe this is not achievable.

People have put 245’s in a square set-up so no issues there, 265 is my thinking too on the rear.

if you go too wide, the tire is going to bulge on the sidewall and not look very nice..just my thoughts

This is a 275 30 19 mounted on a 8.5 inch wheel. Doesn't look bad to me...

Ha ha! I guess this has become an "old school" look then? What do y'all think looks better?

Second one, don't like the top one.

Second one overall, but I’m fine with number 2 if the car can back it up. Number 2 needs to be on something capable of 12.7 1/4 miles or less... Enter STINGER GT :D.

Oh well.... When it comes time, I'm gonna try the 275's in back. I guess everyone is gonna laugh at me then....

I like the look! How about the front 245 35 19 same look

I do not like the streached tire look. I like rubber just past the rim lip.

Cool! Ok then, dumb question... Stretched is when the rim lip is more exposed?

Is it possible to run a 255/35 squared setup on 19x9 wheels with +32 offset?
