Cool! Ok then, dumb question... Stretched is when the rim lip is more exposed?
Correct.
Cool! Ok then, dumb question... Stretched is when the rim lip is more exposed?
Looks like it’s ready for a race car!!!Ha ha! I guess this has become an "old school" look then? What do y'all think looks better?
Is it possible to run a 255/35 squared setup on 19x9 wheels with +32 offset?
Any confirmation on this claim? Can the front and rear OEM 19" rims fit 245/35 squared? When my tires will worn out, I'd like to go with a non-staggered setup and am currently looking into it (my friend will do the same next summer on his 2018 BMW 340i xdrive).People have put 245’s in a square set-up so no issues there, 265 is my thinking too on the rear.
I think the recommendation is +37 if running wider then 245’s as a square set-up. But I “think” a lot of things, getting old(er).
I current have the Volk GT-F special edition (gold with polish lip) on my stinger right now and it come with the tire size. Back tire 265/30/19 and front tire 235/35/19. I have lower the stinger with the eibach lower spring and it still show a little gap between tire and fender for both front and back tires. I will be changing the tire to (275/35/19) back and 235/40/19 front down the road when I need to replace the tire or when I come across a good deal on tires. Sorry have not taking picture of the car at the moment and when I do I will post it.
I cant find a single pic with 275s in rear, did u ever find any by any chance?Where’s the pic? We like tires!!!
Good luck man, I might try that size next month thenNope, I did just get an alignment yesterday and the front passenger tire is toast. Everything was out of whack. The shop measured everything and is pretty sure the 275/30r19 will work.... but They measured the rear rim to be 9” wide. And everyone had said it’s 8.5”.
My driveway is pretty rough, and they said it looks the suspension has a lot of flex. Got a recommendation to try the collar bolts... sooooo I guess that’s my next step investment.
Post pics if you can. Would like to see the difference with the stock wheels. I have 0 traction since installing the jb4 and feel wasteful if I turn the boost down lolI asked the tire shop if I could do 265 and if it was safe. They said no problem and didnt even flinch. If in fact the rim does measure 9 inches next set will be 245 / 275. I didnt even think to measure rim assumed stock was 8.5.
275Couple years later.... Any update on getting a photo of 275 on the stock GT 19” rears and if it’s safe?
How do those drive compared to the skinnier stock Michelin’s? Looks much better, I’m definitely going to size up next time around. I got lucky and found someone local selling barely used stock Stinger tires for $500 (saved me about $600 over new).
