StingerFest - Where shall it take place?

It sounds like there are plenty of people ready to do a Florida meet. Why isn't this being discussed in the regional forums? Everyone looking for a local meet should get a thread started in one of the regional-specific discussion areas listed here: Kia Stinger Regional-Specific Discussions

I commented in the Southeast forum this morning, just waiting for responses. I will keep a list if we get commitments. Right now I have a list of one, me for West Palm Beach on July 8th.

Sounds like a plan and I'm leaning towards the WPB location too. I heard that they typically have 1k+ cars there.:thumbup:

sal, the mrs and i are in. we drove to chicago for a comic convention. the whole point of the meet is to meet. if i don't know anybody, so be it. i will make friends when i get there. and if they are all a-holes, i can play nice by myself. as for sal's suggestion for a florida meet, even though it isn't the right thread for it, have offered, since my location is between fort lauderdale and wpb, come to my carrabbas, first round is on me no reason to just stand around, large parking lot in front and a huge one in back. just give me a heads up so i can make sure that i am not at another location doing teachbacks to the line cooks and such.

I like this idea and sorry we havent made it happen yet. I just tempted my girl with drinks and a nice dinner so we may be able to come out tomorrow after work! I'll PM you and post in our regional discussion again to see if any other interest.

A few of us have been posting in there and sorry we didnt intend to piggyback onto this thread.:oops: I just wanted to answer your questions and we will try to get some local interest in the regional threads again.

I'm also in the midwest and still think it should be somewhere in the middle of the nation like St. Louis or Omaha. Detroit and Chicago would be closer for me, but I would rather drive a little bit farther to make it accessible to more people for a greater turnout.
