Hello everyone,

I am actively looking to buy a Kia Stinger :) I've been admiring it for quite some time but was never financially stable enough to take the plunge. I have a lot of questions, hopefully someone can help me.Thanks!

Welcome to my world.....I just picked up a new Stinger a week ago Friday.
I can speak as a newbie, but not as an experienced owner, yet.
There's a lot to learn with this car. I am still in the process of figuring everything out.
One thing I can tell you, the 368 horses under the hood are dying to get out.
I haven't pushed it yet, but this car definitely wants to go.
I hope you find what you are looking for.
Good luck.

That’s generous, Buzz.. I was just struggling to respond to Eht:
Fi ouy evah a cificeps noitseuq, neht ksa ti. Esiwrerhto, od rouy nwo hcraeser, dna doog kcul.

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. I'm glad you found us! You've come to the best place online to research the Stinger - from actual owners... What might the Stinger be replacing for you?

That’s cool. I apologize for any assumptions and fancy wordplay based on your intro and member name. I have a penchant for lexicography, but also origins…can you tell us the origin of your member name? We are an inclusive group but also suspect of potential trolls, as is any forum. Welcome, indeed, and we look forward to you specific questions. Lots of great information here curated by our dedicated host.

Settle down, mischievous child. But props for seeming to get my point.

You fancy. It's just a string for my chubbines and I thought I'd deceive some people with the ä, I guess not. LOL. Good catch. :)

I can't really afford the 368, so, I'm test driving a 2021 GT1 AWD this weekend. So far, I've kept my promise not to be in debt - car paid for, not mortgage - but the Stinger is so beautiful, I just can't help it.

Ha ha.
That's what got me hooked way back in 2018 when I first saw one in a shopping mall.
I swore then to myself that one day I would own one.
5 years later, here I am.

Please consider these facts:
  • My fastest car was a Volvo 850.
  • My only new car was my current Prius 2015.
    • I know the feature that makes the Stinger special are:
      • It's engine (GT1 and GT2)
      • It's beautiful, and sleek body. (All trims)
Now, here's the within-my-budget-question:
  • Lease a 2023 GT-line AWD.
  • Buy a used 2021 GT1 AWD - 32K miles, $36,000.00. (test-driving Saturday)
  • Buy a used 2019 GT2 AWD - 54K miles, $34,000.00. (test-driving Monday)
These are all available now. What say you?

if you want to keep the car more than three years then buy a used one. if you plan on turning it in after the lease then lease a new one.

Get the GT2

Between those choices I'd probably go with the GT2...but that's just me.
