Stinger Logo Emblem Development Underway

View attachment 2946Forgive my Paleolithic attempt at freehand work, but this is an idea I had for a Stinger-specific "Kia" emblem. I want people to know I'm driving a Kia, but the actual logo itself never did much for me. To my eyes, the "Stinger" font would pair well with company name and logo shape, but my "Photoshop toolkit" consists of a #2 pencil and an eraser ;)

I wonder if any of the photoshop/design-savvy folks here would be able to mock up something like this as a possible alternate logo?

More than happy to try, but please bear in mind that logos and names are copyrighted.
Unfortunately, even the other 2 designs could be copyrighted. It needs to be Fresh, Clean, manageable( for various formats and uses), eye catching, and above all something to do with the nane Stinger and/or car!.
That's my $2 bit of....

Ok let’s see them?
Sorry. I get very little time on here due to work. I saw a nice one with the name Pilot IP-456c on eBay but appears far too large (8-9”). Apologies for the late reply.

Much appreciated, sir! Obviously there are lots of ideas floating around. What a fun time to be a Stinger enthusiast, while so many possibilities are still wide open!! :)

Yes, definitely. It's very important to understand this - especially if you're selling the design. If I'm not mistaken, you can get logos and badges printed and give them away - but you can't sell them. So if anyone has the spare change to go through the design process and mail people stuff no charge - it'll be fine. Otherwise, copyrights are something that must be considered - unless you want to be open to be sued. And we all know how planet Earth is sue-crazy...

I suppose there could be a voluntary collection plate passed around...? ;)

I couldn't find any wheel badges that say STINGER in your link. Where did you find those?

My only thing with the GT emblem for the steering wheel is that there is already a GT on the bottom of the steering wheel. I think it would look weird with 2 GTs on the same steering wheel within a few inches of each other. Too much redundancy. The Stinger script on an oval emblem would be perfect I think.
Completely agree

It is hard to see in the pic I admit.....try this one.

Definitely approve of the intent and effort! Not sure I'm in the "yes" camp for it as it sticks but you've done way more than most of us have so far!

Thanks folks. Individuality is the best part of this. I removed the other Kia badges and replaced the front with the blue Kia Motors and the rear with the large Stinger logo. Have had at least two ask “is that a Jag?” I also see that the Stinger was just rated in the top 10 interiors for cars less than $50k.

Have an idea so watch out.....how about we get a “Stinger” logo, whatever it may be......scorpion, hornet, etc. with it peeing on a BMW or Audi logo? Lol

Was having a bit of a doodle in December and came up with this which is similar, but quite different to many others. It’s my own drawing so there shouldn’t be any copyright issues. Maybe on a sliver background? Even making the white and yellow silver it would still be visible.
I especially would like one for my steering wheel and even the key fob if it could be made small enough.
I think for steering wheel and keyfob it could just be a stick on gel type. But for outside would have to be more robust and look permanent.
Anyway, just a thought to throw out there.

Not bad. Great work. For sure people would definitely get the point!

It looks good but I prefer less busy and clean like my one
