Not yet. I really need to get a trace of the OEM steering wheel logo on the car so I can make sure to get the correct shape. Thankfully tomorrow afternoon I'm finally going to be able to get together with a Stinger owner since we're prototyping an intake setup. When I'm at that shop, I'm going to see about tracing/measuring the emblem on the steering wheel to get that product off the ground. It should be fairly straight-forward once the ball is officially rolling.

Ebay tshirt transfers and a hot iron. Made the logo up on laptop.

Ah gotcha. Well I hope that hornet thing catches on because there really isn't any "logo" that the community has latched onto yet. The Gen Coupe have the wing emblem, Veloster people have the velocirapter...there was even that Tuscani logo for the Tibby crowd. The stylized "K" thing seems more of an Optima fad I guess. I'd put the Stinger on a much higher level than that, so why not it's own grassroots branding?

Unfortunately I think the logo is associated with a car on fibre cycle wheel company. I got it off the net in a search I did. It’s really good , I can’t see why we can’t use it, like a tag maybe?
I’ve tried to find the company but nothing comes up. I’d say we should use it.

that's the thing i don't like about it. the idea itself is great because i do feel we need a specific icon or logo for the stinger. the e is okay but it's just an e. the k is fine for the optima but it's too cheasy for the stinger. i saw one on the k900 yesterday and it made the car look cheaper than having the kia badge. i think something more intimidating looking would be better. i agree that this logo is cute. but i don't really want cute. if we can't think of anything else then this will have to do.

Haha yea I see what you're saying about the hornet guy. I like it but not sure if it suits the Stinger. (Maybe see what other people say to get more opinions?) I'm not sure about the E either btw. It's almost like it's a bit of a stretch with the whole marketing theme angle. The K does seem "below" the Stinger and IMHO better served for the Optima crowd, so I definitely agree there. On a K900??? No way! Yea that's really...not good.

I definitely like it, but it’s unfortunately not my opinion that matters the most. If there is demand for products with this logo then I’d be happy to make it.

We've had some discussions with some folks out there to have a Stinger-centric aftermarket emblem made. Some individuals feel the E logo in front is a bit of a stretch given the brand's explanation of it's meaning (to each his own of course). Why not have something more applicable to the car that's not the rather undesireable "KIA" emblem that can be used on the front of the car as well as the tailgate? This is a fairly easy project for us as we've done custom OEM-quality emblems in the past. Here are some ideas that are just starting to be thrown around using the original "Stinger" lettering as the logo...

I'm not a Photoshop guru, so I can't simulate what chrome would look like, but that would probably be the first color we'd do. Red/black seems to be a nice alternative option too as it's often a popular highlight color for exterior themes. Either way, the logo and outline would be a beveled design with the black background sunk back. Pretty standard for this type of emblem.

Thoughts? Feedback?

Can you mock up this again with just the letter S enlarged. Might be a little too Superman style but would be interesting to see

Eh I think he’s happy selling KDM emblems only. To each his own I guess. In my experience, the problem with those is there are lowball Korean sellers on EBay who drive down the price so much that they’re not worth the effort. That’s why I concentrate on aftermarket stuff like this—and feedback from individuals in the community is highly valuable btw.
