Stinger GT2 2022 infotainment update file

I'm reaching out to the community to see if anyone might have the infotainment update file for stinger 2022 model. The kia update site has paused updates as of april 2025. I am attaching my infotainment consoles version in case I get lucky here

Usually 2 updates a year in April and November.

I have a 2022 that hasn't been updated since 2020 and I really wanted to update everything today, but no go.

Don't know when that's coming back either.

Anyone know?

I reached out to kia through the update.kia website and this is what I got this morning.

Thank you for reaching out to the Navigation Solution Center with your inquiry.

We would like to inform you that our map update is currently unavailable due to an ongoing issue. As a result, our map development team has temporarily paused all update procedures. At this time, the update cannot be downloaded for free from update.kia.com, nor is it available for purchase at mapnsoft.com.

Our team is actively working on releasing the new version 19.0. While we do not have a confirmed release date, we recommend checking back toward the end of the year—around late November or December—for availability.

We sincerely apologize for the delay and appreciate your understanding.

Does anyone have the latest image that was available? Would be awesome to post it here for all others for a while.

I'll check when im at the desktop next. I might have downloaded the one for the W5 or 5W (10.25") model back in april when it first came out. Or I may have one from last year.

Keep in mind, the file size is HUGE, around 40GB or larger. Not sure where something that big can be hosted.

I did apply an update in late '21 or early 22, but that was it. The latest changelogs are crap.

Yes. My car detail is in the sig. As far as I know the updates are the same for all trim levels with a particular nav system - I have the gen5w too.

By any chance are you on the stingers owner group on fb? Stingerforum is preventing me from sending urls.

I'm not, just break the url up. remove https.. add spaces, etc..

Yes. My car detail is in the sig. As far as I know the updates are the same for all trim levels with a particular nav system - I have the gen5w too.

It must only be the USA because I downloaded the complete file a couple of days ago but I didn't install it.

I just think it is a waste of time

The maps rarely update with these things and just remove functionality for other stuff.

I have the latest dashcam and the software for maps and red light/speed camera locations and voice over is identical to what is in my MY23 Stinger which I have never updated

If it's not broken don't fix it

I mainly needed for the android auto full screen. I tried the disabling of split screen option but that didn't work. Only option i see is to update the firmware.

Ah so you are trying to fix it.

If I were you............

I would just do a factory reset then painstakingly go through each setting which should take about an hour.
