A few weeks ago they said they would ship them between August 22-29.

Though I believe they are lying about sending off intakes to certain customers last week to make us believe things are on track, I'm not too worried YET.

I'm going to give them a 10 day buffer. If I haven't received shipping confirmation by September 7th I'm cancelling my order. I will not play the "two more weeks" game with them while they have my money.

You are more optimistic than I. I think I'll go until the 31st. Although every time I look at the intake and think of the mechanics of it, I tend to soften my stance! lol

It's not even about waiting as much as it is the creation of false expectation...I've always adhered to "under-promise, over deliver"...

A little honesty goes a long way. If they were just honest about having issues with suppliers, being understaffed, or just having difficulties building the intake I would completely understand.

But when they lie and tell us "some people's intakes shipped Friday" and not a single one of those people are on either forum I start getting worried. Their track record regarding the timeline for this intake is already horrid. The last thing I need is to worry that they will also lie to keep customers on the hook.

BUT, I also want the damn intake. My patience does have it's limits, though. And I think giving them 20 days from the date they said they would start shipping them out is plenty generous. After that I'm moving on and going back to the JT camp.

I was thinking the same thing. The only thing that keeps me from JT is the modification for the ducting. I’ve done a lot of modding w/ my previous cars and idk if I’m still up to do extensive modifications anymore. Might go w/ the k&n or the afe (if that ever gets to market)

Wow...that's a pretty penny for an intake...I'd probably just go with an K&n typhoon and upgraded intercooler. I've always like the design and those big ol filters, BUT good lawd...lol

I believe the price fluctuates some due to exchange rates changing daily. When I attempted to buy it I sent $950 AUD through PayPal which translated to $706 USD on that particular day. If someone purchased today it would be $688. It really depends on when you buy.
