3.3TT SSR Performance Axleback(Muffler Delete) + Downpipes

I honestly love this setup, when i first turned it on i was like wow thats the sound i was wanting, ssr performance nailed it. Its very deep and aggressive has a throaty sound to when punching it underlay. I could definitely tell the power difference from stock. I would say +40whp and +36wtq I'm just guessing based on the downpipes that made +30whp and +26wtq on the dyno. Who knows might be more, I'm no expert. I know for sure that these two shaved off 31.4lbs of weight. I did a bunch of videos to get different variations, hopefully each of them help.

When driving with no radio u can hear the exhaust in cabin but when listening to music at volume 20 like i do and u r just cruising regularly u can barely hear it inside cabin, but on WOT u can hear it open it which i love. In sports mode and triptronic it sounds amazing, i love downshifting u hear that deep aggressive tone sometimes u hear a backfire pop, depending on ur downshift. I feel like there is a little bit of drone at 60-72mph around 80 mph u can barley hear it which is weird to me. but since i do 80 I'm happy. i used to have a 240sx back in the day with a hks exhaust and let me tell u that had drone up the yang yang, but i was young back then and didn't care. Anyways i can't complain i love this setup. People stare when i punch. well they always stare but more at WOT. For the price its really is a steal and for some bolt-ons it gives some nice power upgrades. Overall I'm going have to give it 9 out of 10!!

Sounds nice! Can you confirm what your axle back setup is? Muffler deletes replaced with SSR straight pipe replacements with no mufflers? Plus (SSR downpipie). What was total cost for mod?

Yicks, it would be ok if you never reved it i guess. Real raspy and high pitched. I think MagnaFlow still may be the best from the vids on here. I am not sure a few extra ponies is worth making my car sound like that.

No never tried any other exhaust setup but I heard the borla, jun, and thermal all in person and didn’t like the sound personally. Everyone has thier own opinion on those. Ssr is making a mid pipe as well with a evc so this setup should be very well off after.

I took off stock exhaust that had the mufflers replace with SSR axle pipe which is pretty much straight pipes. And took of stock downpipes replace with SSR downpipes. If u go to this Product Result It has price and both items I have. I have stock mid pipes tho. Pretty soon they r making a mid pipe, with two options. 1. Being straight pipe 2. Being straight pipe with resonator. Once I find out more I’ll let u know.

Compared to stock how is that not amazing?!?

We’re not saying it sounds better than a nice big V8 or screaming V12, but most people are looking for something that matches our badass looks!

I do agree and never want to sound like an annoying coffee can exhaust! But I’m sure most tuners would love to find an exhaust that can make our V6 sound like this...

IMO this seems like the definition of a “throaty deep and aggressive” tone and unclear what words can better describe those sounds?

This is what I’m looking for in an exhaust and think the Alfa(Ferrari) V6 engine does it better than most V8s can hope for!

Think most of us agree we don’t want to sound like your so called “ricers”, but hating on Nikos SSR exhaust is simply unnecessary.
