Anyone else have this happen? I no longer have the little traffic signs on the center multimedia screen. Odd.

At the same time, the speed limit is showing on the map screen?

There may be an option somewhere in GPS settings?

I had this happen. I'm not one to look for it so I'm not sure when it went away, but know it was going on for a number of days.

I wondered at the time if it was related to scheduled construction on the roads where it wasn't working. That would seem smart: don't list the speed limit when a work zone may have it changed. But I've not noticed it since. Or... I'm looking for it less. LOL Sorry!

There's an option to turn on/off road signs in the head up display. This might also control their visibility in the center multimedia screen.

This is why it is a good idea for members to put their car details in their signature; so we can know which trim we are talking about.

(And while you're at it, please put where you live in your membership details.)

Doesn't explain why it will go away without every going into settings.

If the OP means the UVO screen in the middle, the UVO system is just plain screwy. I've had it cut out sound to my front speakers one day, and then today no sound to any speakers (fixed by pressing the reset button). I'm not the only one that's experienced bugs in UVO. I wouldn't doubt this might be a similar bug? Maybe try pressing the little reset button that's on the piano black section on the left side of the physical buttons for the head unit?

Does that reset all the setting in the head unit like radio presets, etc.? Thanks.

stinger - steering wheel - volume mute.webp

The outlined button on the steering wheel, when pushed, acts as a mute button. Is is possible you are inadvertently pushing it?

Surprisingly it did not when I used it yesterday. I refused to drive home 30 minutes with no music and the reset button fixed it. Presets, equalizer and all that seems to be the same. But no promises if it resets yours...lol

Trust me, I pressed all the things. Only the reset button fixed it. I had one day where the front door speakers refused to work, and the car sitting overnight reset it and fixed the problem. It's a glitchy unit on occasion. Oddly enough, I haven't been stricken by the "fader automatically setting to the rear" yet.

this is the same thing is buying any app or gps, any side roads or country areas will have limited or even inaccurate information.
