I’m almost positive we have anti venom in the USA. Of course I’m not looking to violate any “laws”. I know they are deadly. I’ll have to investigate more on the procedure to do it if st all possible.Mate, they are deadly, if you were to get one & get bitten in the US you would die.
Secondly it’s a Federal Offence to export Australian Flora & Fauna without a permit & I don’t think a permit exists for a funnel web spider.

Well any Anti Venom would only be held by zoos or other institutions that keep funnel web spider.I’m almost positive we have anti venom in the USA. Of course I’m not looking to violate any “laws”. I know they are deadly. I’ll have to investigate more on the procedure to do it if st all possible.
Hospitals are likely to have it also. We have venomous animals all over the place.Well any Anti Venom would only be held by zoos or other institutions that keep funnel web spider.
There have been 13 recorded deaths from funnel webs prior to the introduction of anti venom in 1981.

Correct. This is the USA. There is an abundance of everything. Even things we don’t need. The only thing uncommon here is people that seek opportunity and listen when someone crosses their path and offers to help them change their bum lives.I’m not an expert but I think antivenins are specific to an individual toxin. So say, rattlesnake antivenin may not help with a funnel web spider bite.
Correct, the spider has to be “milked” for its venom same as snakes are milked & the anti venom is specifically developed for that species.I’m not an expert but I think antivenins are specific to an individual toxin. So say, rattlesnake antivenin may not help with a funnel web spider bite.
Lol! Those seem too small to keep track of! We have black widows here also, evil looking little suckersIve so far had a snake free year so which is unsual. Probably the spring/summer rain has kept them at bay. When we have drought conditions they wander into surburbia.
Now red back spiders cousins of the black widow i find by the truck load. I have 2 compost bins its an absolute haven for them. Self addressed envelope and i'll send you one. Lol.
I saw a show recently about the nightmare evasive species the "Sharkshead" i think its called. It orginally came from Asia as an aquarium fish but got loose in the southern states of America where it has gone bezerk. Its the meanest fish ive seen.Correct. This is the USA. Sorry, you're right snakehead it is.Is that the snakehead you’re talking about? I think I saw that show too. Monster fish or something like that.
Aussie Quarantine is really strict, that's a no way, anyway don't you guys have enough exotic pets over there ?Can one of y’all mail me a funnel web spider? No I am not joking.

You must be pleased you moved to Vic then.Mate not to be messed with, their fangs are 10mm (3/8th inch in old scale) long and can bite through finger nails and leather boots they are seriously aggressive.
But if you have a cat they will take care of a funnel web because they are immune to the venom. When I lived in Narrabeen in Sydney the bastards were everywhere and you could not go out at night without very good heavy leather shoes. We had a small square of grass 3 x 2 meters in front of the letterbox, there must have been 50 of the bastards in there.
