• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Haha...how's the weather up there ? :p

And talking about weather it is a great metaphor for life
sometimes it's good, sometimes it's bad and there's nothing
much you can do about it but carry an umbrella.

Testing, testing, Alpha, victor, echo, romeo, is runway forum ok for take off.

Yeah he was massively popular here during the period you’re talking about. Unfortunately reruns of his specials have never been aired and I don’t know why. He lost a lot of female fans after Dundee came out and he divorced his then wife Noelene to take up with Linda Kozlowski. Aussie blokes didn’t really care but the women’s magazines really trashed him.

Hey Oliver,

No one has the guts to rerun Hoges today, I have a fair few episodes from 1973 to 1984 and several best of shows that were heavily edited for rerun in the 1990's. fact is the show was fantastic but really sexist by today's standards, with Delvene Delaney (Stops wife IRL), Karen Pini and Abigail more or less naked or well represented in bikinis and hot pants. Ahh the 1970's and 80's I miss them so :(
Political correctness has buried great Australian comedy forever.

Paul.

Tip, follow instructions but also spray the non sticky side as it makes getting the bubbles out a lot easier. (I realised too late).

You’re probably right Paul. I remember watching the shows when I was a kid and loved them. I’ve always wondered why they never repeated them; whether it was contractual issues, lost the tapes or what. But yeah, PC is probably the reason. The wowsers would go crazy if they aired them now.

Get the best of the Paul Hogan Show on DVD it’s the best money you will spend this week.

As a Sydney local, I’m old enough to remember seeing Paul Hogan for the first time on A Current Affair with Mike Willisee, he was interviewed during a story on the Harbour Bridge as he worked on it as a rigger, he was so popular people rang the station & wanted to see more of him, hence a star was born & also Kerry Packer who gave him his own show, paid him & John Cornell (Strop)buckets of money to do what they wanted for a 1 hourly show...absolutely love it.
I was also John Cornell (Strop) who was instrumental with the inception of World Series Cricket, Packer just funded it.

The Pushbike Song...one his classics
