So... Who's eaten food in their stinger?

I found out my wife was eating in our stinger. Needles to say I’m now single and looking.

... once out i slowly drive over a couple of speed bumps, park the Stinger in the largest open space away from other cars, open the hatch, place the food in the hatch floor and eat it standing close by while admiring my ride ...
A determined approach, to be sure!

But it begs the question, as you are going to park the car anyway and eat in close proximity, why not simply go into the restaurant, get a table, and leave all the attendant smells, oils and residue for them to deal with when you finish dining and hop back into your nice, shiny car?

i have a universal policy of no eating food in any of my cars.
I don't even like to transport food in my cars.
If you are lucky and careful, i might let you drink water in my cars.

When i drive my Stinger in Drive-Thru , i intend to stay with the car, i have owned my Stinger 7 months and have never left it alone so far, when i want to eat inside Mcdonalds, i drive my daily driver( Holden Commodore ), there are no smells left inside my Stinger by just leaving a drink and fries, or even the burger on the hatch floor for such a short amount of time, if i am going to park my Stinger and leave it alone in the car park, and then worry the whole time if it is alright, better not at all, more than happy to use my daily driver for that.

Fair enough! I find that spending small amounts of time apart from my Stinger brings us even closer together .... :)

Wow.. bunch of uptight owners.. or messy eaters! :p

I missed the question about "how long".. I'd say it was about 4hrs and 250 miles after I left Kia of Muncie when I made my first fuel stop, and went thru a drive-thru.

Lmao. Funny, 4th day into my stinger. I took my mother out for a ride.. she asks can we get some coffee at Tims... I was like... sure. Obviously you can't deny your mother.... a little bit after, Tims fileld the coffee a bit too much and as it was put into the cup coffee spilled into the cup holder and a bit to the side. Lol. I didn't get frustrated since it was my Mother however if it was myself or anyone else I would sure be pretty bent lol.

The Ten Stinger commandments.

No.1 Thou shall not eat within confines.

No.2 Thou shall commend fellow Stingees on their choice.

...... ok your turn.

Aaah ... 3. Thou shalt not let thy Stinger be seen dirty.

No 4. Thou shall be patient and kind upon hearing, "You spent $50k on a KIA!!??"

Be tolerant of non-believers.. they know no better..

Multiple times already in, what, 10 days of ownership? In fact I took a friend for a drive in the mountains this weekend and she even asked if it was OK to drink the coffee we just ordered from a drive-thru in the car. I laughed, I didn't realize that was a thing for some people but apparently it is for another one of her friends. Not sure why I would have ordered it for her if I wasn't going to allow her to drink it!
Thats a good woman and a definite keeper.

Both my wife and 4yr old daughter know that no food goes in the stinger. This is carry over from our M3 so not a surprise for them

I bought the Stinger to eat in so I don’t eat in my Porsche’s. Stinger is daily beater like my Civic was.

Sure and while you’re at it could you vacuum crumbs off the mats in my daily beater Kia?

I'm not proud. I like detailing. But you pay for it.
