So...this happened yesterday (7/10/23).

You have to get to about 90% of a vehicle's worth before an insurance company will write it off. Then you might be able to buy the wreck and fix it. That to me looks like a new fender, front bits and pieces, a headlight. probably not anything internally and paint. I would say $10K tops.
Fully repairable BUT I would trade it for a new Stinger once repaired and get all the new features.

How does insurance work on a salvaged titled vehicle? Can you still get full coverage?

Yes, but the vehicle will have an adjusted (decreased) value.

Interesting. Is it sop to have the car inspected before they even offer (full coverage) insurance, and/or is some adjustment factor applied if there's another claim?

I've seen both in person inspection, pictures and/or a simple verification that repairs were completed via receipt or some such but only in the case of a claim. Not saying they wouldn't do that before offering full coverage, though.
If repairs aren't completed and damage happens in the same area, they can deny covering repairs on the already damaged parts, basically.
They will essentially base most or all factors on the adjusted value of the vehicle, I believe.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I've been looking up the 2023 green tribute edition Stinger to see if I can get a true price quote. Seems their MSRP is $54,000+/- and they are attempting to add $10,000 to it ($64,000 o_O). That's not gonna happen from me.

I would really love to keep my baby and fix her up as she ticked all the boxes for me, BUT...I worry about what I don't know or see that needs fixing. I'm not really a mechanically savvy dude (relatively simple fixes, yes), so if there is something I don't see...I'd have to have someone else do it...$$$. Then, of course, there is the title thing and insurance. I figure I'll just move on. Maybe the car gods were telling me it was time.

And so this happened over the weekend. I was going back and forth between BMW, Audi and Stinger for a week or so. I kept looking at Price Vs Value and the Stinger seemed to win it for me. I'm in Las Vegas and I see a car in Cerritos, CA that has all the "bells and whistles" (Black - GT2). I call them on it this past Friday and they state they can do it for $1000 over MSRP if I can make it there this weekend. I state that I'm in Vegas and I'm not planning on coming up until I make sure. He says "if you come down this weekend we'll do it for MSRP". We discuss terms and I like them. In my mind I'm thinking...sure I'll head up, maybe I'll head up...probably not. And then one thing led to another...I move money around for the down payment, I get tix for Cali for early a.m. flight and suddenly within less than 20 hours of the call I'm driving my new 2023 Stinger home. Not the craziest thing ever,, but typically I'm an over analyzer and I'm a cross the T's and dot the I's guy to the core. In any event, what a car! I love the new tech and it feels good to be back in the saddle again. She just feels right.

nice replacement but talk about extremes from silky silver to black pearl. lol.

Congrats on the new car, now go get that black paint protected (hopefully it does not already have some dealer installed swirls in it)

Does anyone know how to fix the tubros not producing boost

Thank you sir!

Already got it planned! Should be getting it done in the new few weeks (being stored in my garage until then!) :D

I'll be getting the windows tinted (of course) and "color changing" PPF all around. I actually went with the black color knowing that I'd get it wrapped.

The paint didn't look too bad when I got it home, kind of surprised.

**edit - The one thing they did do was put the front license plate frame on. I'm trying to figure out how to fix. The only thing I came up with is this option... (using black)

and then wrapping over it.

Looking at the below color for the wrap.

:geek:

Got my baby back last Friday, all done with tinting and wrapping. So very much happy that I stuck with the Stinger (2023 version). She just gets the job done for me. :)

It says "Shadow Green" on the sample card. It looks more blue/green to me. I'm pleased with the outcome...I was losing sleep wondering if it would have the look I wanted.

That almost looks like the Tasman Blue on the G70. Definitely would have picked it if it were a factory color.

I got the idea of the greenish color from the Ascot Green. I just didn't like that green, but wanted green of some sort. I walked into the wrap shop and within about 2 minutes found this color.
